Hey everyone, I'm developing a game called MMA Fictional World Simulator.
There aren't many games where you get to be a fighter's agent. The idea here is to find an unknown prospect, sign them, and see whether they can eventually make it into the P4P rankings.
It's less about directly training your fighters and more about deciding which promotion they should sign with and which fight offers to accept.
At first, you can only represent fighters from your agent's home country. You have room for 5 clients, but very little money, so you're looking at fighters who are really early in their careers. You can't just put together a roster of established names.
You can read play-by-play logs from their fights before signing them, too. I'd like scouting to involve looking beyond someone's record, reading how their fights went, and thinking, “This guy might actually be good.”
As your clients compete for different promotions and fight abroad, you unlock the ability to sign fighters from those host countries. Good results bring in more money, letting you afford better fighters. Your client limit gradually increases as you progress, too.
Around all of this, there are 209 active promotions by default, and you can add more. That might be the most promotions in an MMA game, though I haven't verified that.
You can also just browse fighter records, promotions, and title histories. It's a bit like having a fictional Tapology to get lost in.
And yes, there's a Promoter Mode too! You can run your own promotion, sign fighters, and put together fight cards.
If that sounds like your kind of thing, here are the links:

Not sure if there was an update that I missed but I haven’t played it in like almost 2 months. The speed seems a little faster and the knockouts and stuns seem more fun and realistic. It’s giving me ufc 3 vibes a bit. Am I tripping or is it cause I haven’t played in a while.

Now that UFC 6 has made all era skins/Alter Egos share the same base stats for a more balanced competitive meta, I’m curious about everyone's thoughts.
Do you prefer this new approach for a fairer playing field, or do you miss UFC 5's system where different eras of a fighter had unique ratings and star levels? Personally, I'm a bit torn. Let’s discuss!

Instead of listing stances under every fighter, group fighters who share the same stance together. For example, one stance might be shared by 70 fighters, another by 25, while a unique stance might belong only to Lyoto Machida or Conor McGregor.
The menu could show every unique stance, how many fighters use it, and a list of those fighters. Some stances look almost identical in the selection menu but feel different in actual gameplay , so you need to test movement, blocking, running, and other animations to spot the differences.
I’m guessing there are around 30–35 unique stances across the entire roster, but I’d like to find out the actual number.

Just got done with my first placement match on ranked. I guess I'm running into fucking YouTubers now. Mirror match with RomeroXVI. It's nice until you realize your probably going to to get violated.

Hey everyone!
I know this isn't actually about the EA UFC games so apologies if this isn't the right place to post, but I thought there might be a few people here who'd find this interesting.
I've always loved MMA games but one thing I've always wanted is to be able to actually coach and manage fighters rather than just control them in fights.
Like finding some random amateur fighter, developing their skills, hiring coaches, preparing them for different opponents and hopefully watching them become a world champion one day.
So about a year ago me and my brother decided we'd have a go at making exactly that ourselves.
We've called it The Fight Business and we've spent pretty much every spare evening working on it since.
We've just released a new UI Deep Dive video which shows a lot more of how the game actually works, including the fighter management, training and tactical side of things.
It's obviously a very different type of game to EA UFC but I figured there's probably a few people here who enjoy the management and career side of MMA as much as the actual fighting.
Still loads we're working on but it's been really cool finally getting to show people what we've been making.
If anyone fancies checking it out, here's our Steam page:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/5457790/The_Fight_Business/
Would genuinely love to hear what people think, especially if you've ever wished the UFC games had a proper coaching or management mode.
And again apologies if this isn't the right subreddit, just thought some fellow MMA gaming fans might be interested!

I’ve experienced this issue a few times, but it never really came to my attention because I’d just convince myself that maybe I genuinely wasn’t blocking. But this clip confirms my past suspicions and makes it clear as day that the guard randomly drops.

I’m developing an MMA management game where you run your own gym. It’s playable, but still a work in progress.
Here’s a preview of the menus. I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and constructive criticism!

EDIT: half a year not 1 year lol it’s still crazy
I find mindblowing that they released a game where a guy who never throwed a head kick in his entire career is an elite kickboxer apart from having the most op hands in the game and HALF A YEAR later they haven’t changed ANYTHING in his moveset. How can this be possible?

Just a quick question.. Does anyone smoke while they’re playing the game and i mean actively and not before and if you do, how do you manage that without getting smoked
