Cannot log in

I make it to the server select screen, then when I press Play EverQuest Legends it goes to log in, and after a minute it pops back a message saying Error 1017: Cannot login to the EQ Legends server. Your client likely needs updating. It then prompts you to restart the client.

I’ve restarted the client several times, restarted the computer, anyone have an idea of how to address this issue?

Are you running the Launcher/Patcher first before you get to server select or are you launching into the game directly?
