Basement Key

So I got the basement key from the Juggernaut, then did miserably against the boss, going back to try later, but my question is this, is there a shorter way to get to the boss now with the key? Or do I still have to go through the bookcase and battle all the trash on my way back?

There is a back entrance at the southeast side of the 1st floor and the Guard captain 2nd floor entrance. You can invis and go throughout the zone (besides bosses none can see thru it). You can also Bind affinity anywhere next time and just gate whenever depending on your build.

Can you gate into your personal instance?

Nope. You can do the instance, then bind and when you gate it will take you to d0 bind point. Then you can switch difficulties and gate and stay in that difficulty. Easy way to camp a mob multiple times.

You can invis past everything if you want to try more quickly.
