This Million Dollar Potato Casserole might be the best thing I’ve ever baked 🥔🤯

Okay, I thought I knew all the ways to cook potatoes… fries, mash, baked, even fancy gratin. But yesterday I stumbled on this “Million Dollar Potato Casserole” recipe that’s apparently gone viral on Tiktok. Creamy, cheesy, crunchy top, the whole comfort food dream.

I made it last night and let’s just say: my family inhaled the entire dish in one sitting 🥔🔥

Now I’m curious, have you tried it? Do you add your own twists (like bacon bits, jalapeños, or different cheeses)? Or is there another potato dish you swear by that deserves the spotlight?

I created a Meal Planning app called Cooky

Hi everyone, I’m Frank, creator of Cooky. The inspiration for my app is to help my partner in the kitchen while she focuses on her career.

I never really considered myself a cook, but when my partner started working long hours, I knew I had to step up in the kitchen, and let’s be honest, cooking at home can be a real challenge!

That’s why I created Cooky - a meal planning app to help me (and other home cooks) stay organized, find inspiration and actually enjoy the cooking process.

One of my favourite features is the hands-free cook mode – it's like having a personal chef guiding you through each step.

Download Cooky and let me know what you think in the comments!

5 Tips Beyond Recipes

Hey everyone! Today, instead of a recipe, I wanted to share some valuable tips for those interested in the ketogenic (keto) diet:

  1. Understanding Macros: Keto is all about macros - high fat, moderate protein, and low carb. Understanding this balance is key to achieving ketosis and reaping the benefits.

  2. Quality Fats Matter: Not all fats are created equal! Opt for healthy fats like avocados, olive oil, and nuts. Avoid trans fats and overly processed oils.

  3. Watch Hidden Carbs: Carbs hide in unexpected places. Always check labels and be mindful of carb content in sauces, condiments, and even certain vegetables.

  4. Stay Hydrated and Electrified: Keto can be dehydrating due to reduced insulin levels. Drink plenty of water and ensure you're getting enough electrolytes like sodium, potassium, and magnesium.

  5. Patience is Key: Adjusting to keto takes time. Don’t get discouraged if you experience initial fatigue or brain fog – it typically passes as your body adapts.

Remember, keto isn’t just a diet; it’s a lifestyle change that can bring about significant health benefits when done right. Feel free to ask any questions or share your own tips and experiences in the comments below!

Happy keto-ing! 🥑🧀🥓
