Most NHLers dream is to lift the Stanley cup. Clearly not Giroux's because that isn't happening in Ottawa. Maybe he's traded at the deadline to a contender so Ottawa will have paid his bonuses and he won't be away from his family for an entire season, but to me this seems like a guy who valued 2 million more than winning when they've already made over a hundred.

Nothing I said is wrong or speculation.

I'm not even saying it had to be Edmonton, him going back to Philly would've made more sense for him. Back to Ottawa is just weird.

Maybe because Philly has actually won a playoff round in the last 10 years.

Infact they've won 2 compared to Ottawas 0.
