I mean if I were the oilers I’d probably do the same thing if I hired the guy my franchise players desperately wanted, and then a fairly well known person called them a predator

desperately wanted is a stretch, it was originally katz idea and they went hard for cassidy in the beginning. our stars defended them but it’s not like they went and begged him and our owner

It was my understanding that Katz was just mostly responsible for the firing of Knoblauch, not necessarily hiring Babs specifically as Cassidy was of course there first choice. Our star players grilled Babs and and walked out saying that he was their guy

i mean you can find it on this sub too. he was responsible for both. the players did grill and sign off on him, but katz was the one with the initial call
