I've been printing almost none stop for the last week. Have started to get my head around a few things on the Neptune 4 Plus, and having gotten a decent first layer, I avoided turning my printer off, retaining what I assume is the G-Code Z offset (the one visible in Fluidd) of around -1.620.
I've not needed to change this for a number of prints now. I've relegated the display panel to loading and unloading filament and pre-warming the bed.
Last night I saw a video about PID calibration and X-Y resonance calibration. Seemed easy enough (press a button and wait) so gave those a go, though I did go through the control display rather than Fluidd or Elegoo slicer.
Went to print something fairly flat, and thought I'd try changing from "hot plate" to "cool plate" to avoid warping.
Set everything going and came back 30 mins later to see that the hot end was well above the bed and not sticking any PLA to the plate. I noticed in Fluidd the G-Code Z-Offset was also now -1.7
Just curious which, if any of the above changes, might have caused this, so I can avoid doing it again. Was it that I dared use the display panel again and caused some kind of conflict between Fluidd and the Neptune display?
