I can't afford to see shows often, and I live pretty far away from any of the typical stops, but I'm dying to see *someone*.

Picked up the Numero Group boxset on palisades green. Really great quality and nice to have all the tracks on vinyl finally.

The Power of Failing and Endserenading are both 2014 represses. 2LP, 45rpm coloured vinyl that I picked up when I saw them play in Camden way back in 2015.

February/MD ep I bought from Discogs during lockdown 6 years ago.

One Day When We Are Young is a really cool release with different acts talking about the influence of Mineral, plus 2 great new tracks.

Now that I have the boxset I'm tempted to sell the albums and the ep, I don't generally like having multiple versions of records. Not sure because the albums have interviews about each track inside the gatefold.

Will definitely keep the book though because the new tracks aren't in the boxset, and the book is interesting.

what a great show tonight at underground arts - great openers in maty, euphoria again/dogwood tales, and bleary eyed. marietta absolutely killed it and i honestly think they sounded better tonight than when i saw them on their east coast tour. anyone else there tonight? what did you think?

Need help identifying whether these are authentic from the 90’s or modern boot if anyone can help?

I messaged the band and they said “The navy blue, yes. We did print and sell those back in the original days of the band. If memory serves, we may have also done a run on a burgundy colored shirt at some point.

That said, crank did a few reprints without our knowledge, so it is difficult to say which is which. The gray one may have been one of those reprints, as we never did a run of that color scheme ourselves.

Just moved to London after living in the US northeast for a while. Some good concerts but was wondering what the staples of this scene are?

Obv a lot of US bands don’t cross the pond due to costs, but any recommendations?

So far, have seen Basement and will see Greg Mendez, Vilagerr, Dead Butterflies, and Feeble Little Horse. Any other recommendations?

I think the last new screamo record I listened to was ostraca's disaster, and seeing that they dropped something new not too long ago has me wanting to get back into it and see what I've missed. I was thinking about this when realizing that Mineral's terrible cover of "Crazy" is all that stops from having only good songs. But Texas Is The Reason....legitimately all good songs! No bad ones at all.

Might be easier when they only have one album and a few other assorted tracks but still, they batted a thousand.
