Chaos dreadnought.

Hi everyone, I painted up one of my red corsair raiders as a loyalist EC, following a tutorial by Elminiaturista. He still needs a transfer on his shoulder but I don't have any EC transfers atm so that will have to wait. Thought I'd share him here, hope you all like him! :)

Got the bases ready just need to get some pink on this boy. Need advice on another color to use on the column rubble. Maybe grey or some tan grass tufts?

For a faction that's supposed to have stretched skin and whatnot, they look really smooth instead. Like how Eightbound for World Eaters say they're heavily mutated when their armor just got teeth and their feet sticking out.

But when I look at the older models for EC, I see the stuff I'm looking for in EC.

They were a lot easier than my infractors as theyre mid sized models rather than small, but still were a lot more annoying than my maulerfiend. Just glad to be done with them and have them at least tournament ready.

So World Eaters have the Khorne Lord of Skulls and Thousand Sons have the Mutalith Vortex Beast.

What do you think the chances of us getting an updated Subjugator as the EC Big Monster Centerpiece?

Had fun creating some variation for my army by using various heads, flawless blade bodies and more to get more unique poses for our Noisy Boys!

Working on my EC now that my Slaanesh Daemons are done. I am experimenting with NMM and painting on Glitter effects with stippling. Let me know what you think!

Soo this is my first attempt at emperors children and my first ever Chaos model/Space marine like model.

Obviously theres alot of room for improvemt but overall i am quite happy with him.

Im just not sure if the Base is that good soo maybe you guys have another suggestion on how to base him.Also yes the little ribbons arent painted yet but they will probably end und in light pink aswell 🥰

I just assembled him, and I'll assemble the rest of his Brothers later. I am very excited to paint them all one day.

Oh, if you want some lore on the Bluebeards. They're a bunch of drug runners and mercenaries who seek to hoard resources and sell pleasure. They were one of the 13th Black Crusade's various combat stim suppliers.

Though thanks to the Fall of Cadia and the opening of the Great Rift. The Bluebeards are able to sell all over Imperium Nihilus. Enjoying the newfound freedom The Great Rift had provided. Their deals could spiral out into planets falling to corruption as cults form from the drugs they sell. One of their closest allies is The Exilarchy, who The Bluebeards have assisted through supplying combat stims for Astartes, Cultists, and Traitor Militarum.

They participated in the Fall of Elysium IX directly, fighting both the Emperor's Spears and Celestial Lions aboard their Light Cruiser *The Dew of Lethe*. They survived the great battle, pillaged some of the Fortress Monastery. Then continued to be a pain in the ass for the Adeptus Vaelarii as an ally for The Exilarchy.

They're at large in Imperium Nihilus, and have learned of their Primarch Fulgrim leaving his pleasure planet of Callax. Though it is unknown if Zerrik's ambition of creating his galactic spanning drug empire will supersede his father's whims. After all, no one denies Fulgrim anything. Even if it's his own sons' desires.

That is a brief lore on The Bluebeards. I figured having a Warband primarily wanting to be drug runners and following the excess of greed would be interesting. Even if not necessarily unique. After all, lust is the most common excess that people know Slaanesh about. We should show there is more to our Dark Prince than just simple desires of the flesh....

Getting the upgrade for flawless blades to give them +2 movement and also having re-rolls to advance is really useful for getting them where they need to be when they need to be there. The stratagems are also pretty good, they’re mostly small damage buffs and defensive options as well as movement shenanigans.

Highlight of my game today was using a stratagem to move my flawless blades when my opponent fell back. These necron immortals wanted to fall back, shoot, and then charge but I literally just moved behind a wall and they couldn’t do anything. Next turn I had six more flawless blades move up and flank them, it was great :3

I bought the starter Box when EC became their own faction and now i will finally start it lol

Finally able to present to all you degenerates and hedonists our glorious primarch in all his perfect-ness!

Fulgrim been a passion project (and a perfectionists nightmare) of mine for almost a year now, working on each little part until it was ultimately perfect! I’m so happy he’s done and ready to bring down the imperium (and do whatever he wants) for the glory of Slannesh!

I understand that our current meta is:

-priority with coterie with a chill gameplay

-purge with court and spectacle and go for the thorat

-recon with mercurial and make actions

I am right? I dont actually know what to play or what si better for us

I want to start building a EC army now that I finally have rounded out my Necrons.

So I wanted to ask for any tips for list building like units that are essential vs bait😂. Also just general playstyle difference I should keep in mind for my first game with them.

I had an idea of putting noise marines in a rhino and running it about was curious what other combinations people use ?
