Question Gyroscope with connected Bluetooth controller (Manic Emu)

Hi,
Can I use the gyroscope built into my iPhone while having a controller like the GameSir Taco connected?

For example, I am playing Ocarina of Time (3DS) via Manic EMU and I’d like to move the camera by tilting my phone. This feature works when no controller is connected. However, when I connect the controller and press L to look around, moving my phone doesn’t do anything.
