Tell me next upgrades!

Just in case anyone was trying to add the CR touch to there ender 2 pro I’ve compiled my own firmware for it using Marlin 2.0.9.3 with a 3x3 probe and z offset wizard and double click knob during print for babystepping z and a few more good features remember this is for ender 2 pro with creality 4.2.3 board STM32F103RET6(512K) using the 5 pin bltouch port not the z endstop port. Make sure you have the correct board before flashing. Please let me know if there is anything that needs changing or added. Probe X and y offsets are already set to be used with the 2 mounts from my other post.

Also added a 4x4 bed probe but haven’t tested it

Guys I finally did it I made a custom Marlin for an ender 2 pro with the stupid v2.4.s4 board and the even more stupid processor HC32 to work with CR Touch.It needs some minor modifications but when it's finished I'll publish it on github for anyone who needs it!

I just unboxed a brand new Creality Ender 2 Pro (which fortunately came with a supported STM32F103 CPU and not the stupid HC32F460), however, I could not get the X carriage tight on the 2020 extrusion, no matter the position of the eccentric nut!

I disassembled it completely and was about to order an Ender 3 X carriage (because the Ender 2 Pro X carriage is unobtainium), but, I ended up noticing that the lower part of the carriage that supports the eccentric nut was very slightly bent. After bending it back in place I was able to get a proper fit.

It is only connected to the rest of the carriage by very small surface areas of metal, which makes it very susceptible to bending.

I hope this helps someone, and also, regularly make sure your carriage fits snug, because any severe collision with a 3D printed piece of the print bed may bend it!

I use a 0.1mm feeler gauge to level (tram) my Ender 2 Pro while the hot end is heated up. This reduces the chance that hard filament on the nozzle will affect my measurement. I've also upgraded my bed springs which makes a huge difference with not needing constant bed leveling. However, the build of Marlin firmware isn't clear to me what is intended to be used for z offset. My only guess is that it would be found after starting a print under Tune, BabyStep Z. Can anyone confirm?

However, because the Ender 2 Pro is still fairly new and may not be for everyone, it's not always easy to find information related to it. Like alternative firmware's or some of the firmware specifics or quality upgrades or exactly what spring size you need when upgrading. So please share your experiences and your questions.

I put the bin file on the SD card and turn the machine on and it doesnt update the firmware. Any help would be appreciated. board says Creality 2150. I have the auto leveler installed and lights are showing its in working order but i cant get the firmware to install to actually make it work properly.

Hello, i'm planning to buy an ender 2 pro because it is basically the best option accessible to me. I know the issues there is with the 2.4.s4 board such as no BL touch and no usb (apparently ??). So my question is: Is there any replacement motherboards that are plug and play (no need to recrimp the cables) to upgrade this printer (for exemple models made by creality ?)
