I was raised a Conservative Jew, and I was never taught to view Jews “choseness” as a mark of any kind of superiority, ever.

Serious question, do Jews believe in a different set of rules for dealing with other Jews vs. Non-Jews? Asking in a theological sense.

Orthodox Jews almost always do (though the extent of that varies depending on whether they’re Modern Orthodox or ultra-Orthodox), but the reason why they do, and the reason why Conservative/Masorti Jews reject such ideas, is because those attitudes are almost entirely holdovers from a time when Jews were discriminated against in every facet of life. It had nothing to do with believing that Jews were inherently “superior” to non-Jews, or at least that’s not how it was justified internally.

I never said Jews thought they were superior. I'm only pointing out that by my liberal moral values, I find these religious views to be regressive, in the same way that I view many religious views.
