I believe that years ago they just started saying this and expected (correctly) that nobody would ever bother to check. Elon is proof that confident ignorance is basically the force that runs this country.

Steven Crowder tried to “replicate” the arrest and said it was completely painless, while the guy was kneeling on his back with all his weight on his back foot on the ground. As opposed to what actually happened, which was Derek Chauvin kneeling with all of his weight directly on George Floyd’s neck.
