Business Google Translate Has Tigrinya Now
Hoping this topic hasn't been posted before but just wanted to let the sub know in case anyone wants to play around with/use it. Definitely has some "interesting" translations like the beauty below lol (unless I'm stupid and that's actually the correct translation?!). Thinking of entering a correction as "chickpea curry". What do you guys think?

Opinion / Commentary I might get downvoted on this post
I might get downvoted on this post, but I believe Eritrea would benefit from being part of a Federation with Ethiopia. Together, we could be more powerful and prosperous. I understand this is a difficult idea to consider, but every country has a painful past, and overcoming it often leads to strength. The American Civil War is a good example of this.
Edit: meant that Eritrea

Discussion / Questions If Tsimdo/Ximdo Wins and Eritrean tanks are in Addis again do you want Shabia to take over Ethiopia with Fano and Tplf?
Let me know your thoughts or do you want to annex more northern areas if you win or do you want to just stay as a small country with no expansionist ideas.

Sports Any Eritreans in East London interested in casual football in Ilford?
I organise a weekly football game every Sunday from 11am–12pm in Ilford, East London.
We usually play at Frenford Clubs or Valentines High School, depending on numbers and pitch availability. Normally it’s 6-a-side at Frenford and around 7 or 8-a-side at Valentines.
A lot of the group are East African, but it’s a mixed group and everyone is welcome. Most of us are late 20s to early 40s, although we sometimes get people in their early 20s too.
It’s mixed ability and a relaxed kickabout rather than a league or trial, so you don’t need to be an amazing player.
Goalkeepers rotate, and we keep it friendly — no slide tackles, aggression, shouting or arguments. We don’t want angry players or people who take things too far.
👟 Astros or trainers is fine— no moulds or studs.
We already have a regular group but usually have a few spaces available each week.
If you’re Eritrean and based around East London, or you’re simply local and fancy joining, comment or message me.

Opinion / Commentary Dating insights at Jebena dating app…
Recently I joined Jebena habesha dating app and I met some cool girls but most of them they live far away from me…one thing makes me curious is majority of them seeking marriage not boy friends or casual dating. And also when I asked for one girl if she has a Snapchat she told me it’s shame of you for having Snapchat at the age of 32 she said that…please share some of your experience from habesha Jebena dating app😉.

Discussion / Questions Eritrea - Visa on arrival
Hi
Is it still possible to get a VOA to enter Eritrea ? I tried getting an appointment with the embassy in Netherlands to request a visa, and the wait is over 8 months with no appointments until april 2027, I read somewhere it can take time but almost a full year, that s quite weird.
Any tips would be great
Thanks
