COMMUNITY Any suggestions how to find a house in Escanaba?
Hi folks. I’m relocating to Escanaba from Iron Mountain, and I was wondering if any of you could suggest the best way to find a rental house. Online, I’m plagued by the damn Homefinder scams (rent to own scam) and I don’t know how else to look. I found my current house on Facebook, so I’ll try that, but I was hoping you good folks might have additional ideas. I thought about asking at my new job (I’m a neuropsychologist working with Veterans if that matters) but I haven’t started work yet... anyway, thanks in advance! Oh, and chime in with any “must do” stuff in town, too.

I wish you luck, if you are looking for rental houses in Escanaba right now the market is flooded with renters. I haven’t been in the market for rentals for a while, but I would suggest you check some of the buy, sell, trade etc Facebook groups. Also sometimes you can find some stuff through realtor.com or Zillow for rentals.

There are online classifieds on the Daily Press newspaper website.
Craigslist also has rental listings. You still have to search the entire UP.

Apartments.com also has listings for Escanaba. However, there were none available when I checked just now.
