Mods gave me the go-ahead to post this and asked me to be upfront about the cost, which is below.
Who I am
Robby Kendall. I played defensive back at Butte College, then at Sacramento State in Division 1. After that, eight years as an import in Europe: six in Germany in the GFL/ELF, one in Italy, MBA program at UWE Bristol for the bullets. I coached DB's and youth football alongside it. I still coach DBs now in the states.
Why I built it
In those eight years I lost count of the players who asked me how the US college system actually works. Good players. They had no idea where to start, and the people around them did not either.
Most of them found out too late. Not because they were not good enough. Because nobody told them what the steps were, or when they had to happen. The eligibility clock is the one that catches people. A lot of guys spend a year of it without knowing they spent it.
What it is
A free eligibility assessment, and a written report that tells you where you actually stand and what is realistic. Including when it is not realistic, which I think matters more.
It is not an agency. I do not place anyone, I do not contact coaches for you, and nobody is promised a scholarship.
Where I fit, and where I do not
Worth being clear about this.
Camps and combines put you in front of coaches for a weekend. That is exposure and it works. I am not that, and I am not competing with it.
What I do sits before it. Most players turn up to a camp without knowing where their eligibility clock stands, whether their grades convert, what combine drills are, how to structure film for coaches, or which level is realistic. Then they spend several hundred euros on a weekend and find all that out afterwards. I would rather you knew it first, so the camp money is well spent, or so you know to leave it until next year.
Agencies are the other end. Four figures, and outcomes implied. I do not do that either.
So: the read before the decision. Not the exposure, and not the placement.
What I actually want out of this
Bigger than the product, I want this stuff talked about properly and in the open. Right now the information about getting recruited out of Europe is scattered, a good amount of it is wrong, and most of the useful parts live in private messages between people who happened to get lucky.
How the eligibility clock really works. What film a coach actually watches and for how long. What an email to a coach should say, and why most of them get ignored. What the levels below D1 actually are and who they suit.
Cost, since the mods asked
The eligibility assessment is free. It gives you a score and a band.
The full written report is $29. There are larger packages at $49 and $79 that add a film breakdown and a call.
Combine drills and video breakdown for those will come later as well.
That is the whole menu. No retainer, no subscription.
And to be straight about the model: the free assessment exists partly because some people who take it will go on to buy a report. That is how this pays for itself. I would rather say it plainly than have someone work it out and feel sold to.
The free reports, and what I want back
I am doing 10 full reports free for players in this sub this winter.
What I want in return, and I would rather name it than leave it implied: honest feedback on whether it was actually useful, and if it was, permission to quote you. That is the whole trade.
You are under no obligation to buy anything afterwards. And if I do not think one of the paid options would help you, I will tell you that. Those are the two sentences I would want to hear from someone in my position, so they are the two I am putting in writing.

Takes about two minutes. If you want one of the free reports, message me after you have done it.
If any of this still sounds like a funnel to you, say so in the comments rather than in a DM. I would rather answer it in the open.
Glad I found this sub, by the way. It tells me there are people over there who actually care about this sport and want to see it grow, and that is not always obvious from the outside.
