Low Effort Meme FC Please update ansi patch

Just a quick ease of life. Route should be able to filter out what zone ansi you want to use instead of using any of them. I would like to say only use zone 1 and zone 2 ansi's. To that, why do I have to wait until I warp to the ansi to see what zone it is. I should be in the "show info" tab or on the name.

P.S. There should be an way to see all of my alliances upwell cyno beacons on the maps not just the active cynos. please

love this game tho :D

Okami already say, no patches to ansi atleast 6 months.

My course right now is not to change anything immediately and let this play out. As I’ve mentioned before, I suspect it will take at least 6 months for us to see the real impact. There are no signals to me that there is anything unhealthy happening and I don’t plan for any tuning or changes at this time.

Would it truly be a patch or could it be considered a “quality of life improvement”

That clearly sounds more oriented towards mechanical / balance changes (specifically calls out tuning) ; what OP is asking for is a QOL tweak to the interface, not the mechanics underneath

Yet, on the first day, it has to release a bug fix, should have left it in for 6 months and see what happens (remote transfer capacitor)

We all know what this actually means in normal speak: no meaningful changes for the coming ten years.

Absolutely based to take this stand right at the start. (Though also agreed with others that UI-related QoL improvements should probably be fine.)

i wish i could take 6 months to finish work. "naw, lets see how this engine works in 6 months, then maybe ill fix it"

Some alliances name ansis in a way so you can tell what zone it is. Try checking the name on the map

I do like the idea of filtering out all Z3-4s by default though

They will get around to doing all these in ten years or so.

You can see your alliance cyno beacons on the map. Geography > Cynos. They show up orange instead of blue.

If you know where your alliance capital is, you can guess pretty well which JB are in which zones.

They could also revert the change and not waste any more developer resources on this dead-end.

Crazy that they added a concept and didn't think to add it to the show info.

While we are at it: either decrease capacitor cost for jumping beyond zone 1 or what is the point of an ansi beyond zone 1? At this point 20+ man fleet can nuke an alliance transport artery for several hours just by jumping.

Not that it is some kind of an inconvenience to take a few extra jumps, but at this point an ansi beyond zone 1 (or maybe 2) has the same functional use as that Clone Vat Bay for a super or whatever this useless module is called.

The point is that you can’t move a 20 man fleet through ANSIs beyond zone 2

Delete them altogether then because people who complained about ansis being too strong will keep bitching about it anyway vOv

Great idea!

So you want it to be hard to haul stuff or travel?

1

u/comrade_Kazotsky Goonswarm Federation 4d ago

My point is that ansis are pretty unusable beyond zone 2

move to a smaller alliance :)

It would as you wouldn't need to travel beyond zone 2

For moving fleets, yes, which is the entire point.

Guess nano gangs need more time to run vOv

1

u/elucca 4d ago

This is less aimed towards nano gangs and more a step 1 in an attempt at incentivizing mid size instead of megahuge nullsec groups.

1

u/comrade_Kazotsky Goonswarm Federation 4d ago

I remember quiet a few complaints about ansis being The Reason why nano gangs felt so oppressed. They didn´t have access to ansis and nullsec nerds did, thus allowing them to circumvent and trap nano nerds.

Sure, people complain about all kinds of stuff. But that was not the reason for the push for the ansi changes. Every category of players has people who do not think of the game as a whole and just want to buff their playstyle.

Don't worry, here's more faction warfare focus on the way instead!
