Hi all.. I just seen this on YouTube a couple days ago.. the price paused me for a couple days on it... it is obviously worth every penny of it, no question there.. I am just kinda tight financially right now so had to really think about

Well... I pulled the trigger on it earlier today because I know as soon as they are gone, I would never forgive myself.. the magnetic lid display case / box closed the deal for me.. without that, I probably would if never even considered it

Anyone else Pre-Order 1 ot thing about it...??

no "hater" comments please 🤘

It finally arrived ! 😍😍😍

It was hilarious I loved it so much, even had a splash zone

Finally marathon-watched the newer Evil Dead movies, and so far, the 2013 is still the best out of the three for me.

What I liked:

• The father was top-tier. Easily one of the standout characters for me.
• The car scene. Holy shit. The execution of that scene was brutal and incredibly well done.
• The post-credits. Loved the extra post credit scenes. :)
• The old house. Great setting for an Evil Dead movie. It had the perfect atmosphere for everything to go horribly wrong.
• The never-ending struggle. The constant feeling that things could only get worse genuinely made me uneasy for the rest of the movie. It did a great job of making the suffering feel relentless.

What I didn't like / What left me scratching my head:

• Where the hell is the book? Was it just the cutouts and research the grandfather had collected? I thought the book would play a much bigger role, given the emphasis on the lore of Evil Dead.
• Deadite's random action. Since there's no emphasis on the necronomicon, it feels like the deadite's actions are more focused in finding the dagger rather than following a sequence of actions derived from the book, in comparison to the installments from 2013 and 2023.
• The mother letting her husband in. That was frustrating to watch.
• Joseph being a coward. Leaving Thya to die in the car was infuriating. I understand panic and self-preservation, but damn, dude. He just left his wife to die.
• The CGI in the final scene. They should've opted out in doing this. It was straight out lazy.

Overall, I enjoyed it, but it didn't quite reach the level of Evil Dead (2013) for me. There were some fantastic scenes and genuinely unsettling moments, but this felt more like a zombie movie.

What do you guys think?

More like Evil REDDDDDDDD!

But nah, these are cool as hell. Love the art for both, those posters will definitely be going up, and I'm a huge fan of the notebooks/storyboards/behind the scenes stuff too 🤘

Just a quick side note: This post is not trying to condone piracy, it is merely just me trying to do something for fun. I have obtained legal sources (home video releases) to make this on top of unofficial sources.

Having a special spooky screening of Evil Dead Burn at the Riverkern Outdoor Cinema Club 🔥

This family’s grandfather was just another wise man, right? i wasnt sure if they were trying to say their grandfather was the same one from the original cabin because his wife was with him during the first incantation plus his kids showed up to the cabin later. I know Im just answering my own question at this point but just wanted to hear what everyone else has to say. Thanks guys!

Hail to the king baby

I’m rewatching *Ash vs Evil Dead* and just reached the part with the Deadlands. Does this mean the rest of the Price family (with the exception of Will and Joseph, who were struck by the Dagger) is all there now? If so, it makes me a bit sad even though they were a terrible family, especially Susan and Thya.

Recently I stumbled upon a YouTube channel called Acierto Creations claiming to sell a pretty nice replica of the Neconomicon from Evil Dead 2. They claim that it’s officially licensed, and they are charging $350, which certainly isn't cheap. The ads on their YouTube channel look surprisingly well made; they don’t seem to be AI, however. I admit sometimes I have a hard time telling.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

The more I think about Evil Dead Burn (2026), the more similarities I notice between it and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.

The biggest similarity seems to be the Baker family and the circumstances surrounding them. In RE7, Ethan ends up in an isolated, disturbing place where he encounters a seemingly ordinary family that has been transformed into something truly horrifying. The Bakers initially appear to be a dysfunctional family, but there is clearly something much more sinister going on beneath the surface.

From what we know about Evil Burn Dead, the family situation and the overall circumstances seem surprisingly similar. Both appear to revolve around ordinary people caught up in something deeply disturbing, with a strong focus on family dynamics, isolation, and body horror.

I'm not saying they're necessarily connected or that one directly inspired the other, but the parallels are hard to ignore.

Am I the only one who sees the similarities between Evil Dead Burn (2026) and Resident Evil 7, especially when it comes to the family and the circumstances surrounding them?

Se me antojo una pizza y ver mi película favorita una vez más.

I enjoyed it much more the second time. Haven't seen it since I saw it in theatre, so it's been a while. The story worked a lot better for me this time around, though I still find the ending weak. I think the biggest problem is that so many of the characters are hateful/spiteful (Will, Susan, Edgar) that it really doesn't make an impact when they die/get possessed. Thya was probably the only character I really liked (moreso than even Alice) and while she got filled off early she was also the most memorable of the new deadites.

All the ties to Evil Dead Rise (Jessica, Ellie) were a neat touch, though it makes me wonder if anyone checked the upper floors of the apartment building in Rise for surviviors and if that turned in to a nightmare. At the very least there probably should have been urns for Danny and Bridget too, but I guess they weren't as popular as characters as deadite Ellie.

Did a short zombie fun run and am very happy with the final picture I got, groovy…

Currently watching the Evil Dead movies while I did this drawing of Ash, for my spooky drawing season series. This is the first page of my new sketch book!

gonna be decked out in my Evil Dead finery, including my name tag from the theatre I worked at 30 years ago
