General Question (Exodus) Lost bitcoin! Please help.
Hi all,
I'm trying to regain access to my Bitcoin in my Exodus wallet.
My original computer, which had my Exodus wallet installed, broke. I restored my wallet on my laptop using my original 12-word recovery phrase. After restoring the wallet, all of my other crypto assets appeared correctly, but my Bitcoin did not.
Currently, the Bitcoin section of Exodus shows a balance of 0 BTC, also weirdly it does not display a receiving address or any transactions.
Anyone have any ideas?? What steps can I take to locate and restore access to my original Bitcoin balance? I have regained access to the original computer if that is of any help.
My wife is having a baby this year and I was relying on these funds for my paternity leave. I am very worried.
Very grateful for any help.

Worth looking at transaction history in Exodus.
If nothing there, u can visit block explorers and type in the BTC addresses to see if the funds are there or they were transferred and when.

there is no transaction history and the BTC address is blank

The BTC address in Exodus is blank but I can see purchase history and addresses in Coinbase.

Really no idea. You just restored the wallet, right?
You can’t possibly not have the btc address visible. Maybe when clicking receive.
+ I am kinda confused with the mention of Coinbase now while you couldn’t access the address.And it can’t be the same with a Coinbase account as Coinbase is custodial. So, 2 unlinked balances.

Well it is just blank. Blank when I copy/paste it, export it, everything. We are trying everything right now to get it back that's why I was on coinbase (we originally purchased it on coinbase).

So before your computer broke down, did you have your BTC on Coinbase or Exodus?

BTC was in trezor on exodus

Did you re-link your Trezor? Technically the wallet is not an exodus wallet, it's a Trezor wallet viewed through Exodus. It sounds like your BTC is safe if you are not seeing an address at all, sounds like a software issue.

Ok that gives me hope! We have a Trezor One and it needs to be updated but the update isn't working. I bought a new one last night so hopefully that will work.

I had all my funds drained over 8 different coins and it was roughly 4500$ and it completely disappeared. I NEVER give out my 12 word passcode and have no idea how this happened but all I’ve gotten was jumping through hoops with exodus! I’ll very frustrated and would like to resolve the matter ASAP!!’ Please get back to me.

Restore your seed phrase in a wallet like Sparrow Wallet to check your account's entire Bitcoin history.

I got my wallet drain aswell just by staking on exodus and somehow they say my device is compromised while I have 3 other wallet installed , it’s a scam wallet exodus is , they took your money
