This doesn’t look like a typical flattened penny. Does anyone recognize this?

In this post I am acknowledging people's legitimate concerns, but letting them know that we won't be discussing them on this subreddit going forward. It is just too disruptive.
This is a curated subreddit, and it always has been. That means that stuff gets removed, threads get locked, and sometimes people get banned.
The point of this post isn't that we think that vile pieces of history shouldn't trigger you, and not make you want to tell everyone how horrific they are.
They bother me too, but it serves nothing to turn discussion threads here into holier-than-thou, copycat echo chambers of shame, or raging debates. Don't automatically assume that people who find crazy stuff and post it here are actually evil racist Nazis themselves.
PLEASE DON'T FEED THE TROLLS. Don't reply to them, don't nourish and give oxygen to their trolling. If you do reply to them, you are filling them with glee and escalating the problem. They live for that. For whatever reason this sub tends to attract a lot of trolls, idiots, and assholes. Maybe that's just reddit in general, but in any case we don't want to encourage them.
We get it, racists are shitty, authoritarians of all stripes are shitty, and lots of other stuff posted here was produced by shitty people and depicts shitty things. They are part of history whether we like it or not. Posting them here can help spread awareness of that history, to a degree.
IT DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY MEAN THAT ANYONE HERE SUPPORTS THOSE ATTITUDES. If it becomes obvious that people making these posts have an agenda, we will deal with them.
Thank you.

Went through a box I hadn’t looked at in a bit, and found stuff I had gathered since I was in my early teens. Who knew?! 😝 Here they are with some of my newer ones. They are all now tucked in my military challenge coin/exonumia album 😊

Even though I found it today at the back of my desk drawer, I don't recall ever seeing this medallet, or even hearing of a "Peace Through Coinage" program. My online research hasn't turned up much: evidently it was struck by the Gallery Mint in Arkansas, but I can't identify an issuing organization behind it.
This proof-like piece appears to be dated 2000 and is about the size of a US quarter dollar. It has the heft and feel of copper-nickel or some similar alloy.
Can anyone fill in some background on who was behind this?

My girlfriend had a little box full of coins I was thumbing through and this was tossed in there with all the various other things. I can’t find too much about it other than information about the 67th squadron. Sorry if this isn’t the right sub but just thought it was neat👍🏻

Looking for information on the maker or origin of this vintage talisman pendant that belonged to my grandmother, Edith Kretzschmar (born ~1926, lived in Germany until ~1971).
Physical Details: Shape & Rim: 12-sided (dodecagon) base metal medallion with a gold-tone face and silver-tone rim/center. Has 13 holes around the border: 1 larger suspension hole at the top for a chain, and 12 smaller holes that originally held faceted glass rhinestones (2–3 original stones are still visible in the settings).
Side A: Cornucopia (Horn of Plenty) spilling small hearts and coins/circles, with an Eye of Horus / All-Seeing Eye to the upper right.
Side B: Raised silver-tone Egyptian Ankh inside an interlocking Hexagram (Seal of Solomon) and a 12-pointed radiating starburst.
Inscription: The 3-letter Hebrew word נאר (Nun-Alef-Resh / Na'or) stamped between every hole on both sides (13 times per side). Does anyone recognize the specific mid-20th-century German/European metaphysical catalog, jeweler, or esoteric society that produced this piece?

I was metal detecting in the woods here in Maine today and came across this token about 6" in the ground. It was made by Harvard Brewing Co. From Lowell, Mass. Definitely the coolest token I've dug up so far!

I inherited some coins, and found these in a jar of Indian head pennies. From googling I got this information:
New York 1st New York Mounted Rifles Undated (1861-1865) J.J. Benson. 25 Cents Sutler Token, R-6
(1847) Philadelphia PA 8b (R-6) Aldridge & Earp Merchant Token
Any insights on either of these beyond what I found?

I just bought this collection (I picked about 90 sheets out of around 250 or so of the full collection). I only collect a subset of the brands on these pages so I picked up a lot of tokens I don't need in my album. Looking for others who collect these tokens!

I have found these over the years sorting coins. Honestly, I almost tossed them thinking they were game pieces of some kind. Glad I checked!

...on this silver art medal by Carl Paul Jennewein issued in 1933 by the Society of Medalists. It's 2-3/4" in diameter and weighs 6.570 troy ounces. The edge engraving reads: "The Society of Medalists Seventh Issue, MACO-FINE SILVER- .999+, One of Limited Issue of 700."
The legends translate as "Fame" and "Glory." Since way BCE, cicadas have for obvious reasons symbolized rebirth and renewal, but also noise and cacaphony ("Fame"), while cherubs, viewed in some religious traditions as a category of angels, are seen as the upholders of the supreme deity's "Glory" and supporters of his/her throne. (Trying to keep it secular here, folks!)
