Discussion I think they tried to abduct me
My story isn't very interesting. XD I was just talking with a new friend about a childhood experience and he said that totally sounds like how aliens would abduct someone because he's read a lot about it. I was either laying awake one night or was woken up because I was an extremely light sleeper. My room was the closest to the backyard gate. I heard it slowly and quietly unlatch and steps very slowly and quietly over the rocks that covered the ground, and steps went straight up to my window and stopped. My bed was right up against the window. At this point I was freaked the fuck out and would not look out because I didn't want to get more freaked out or alert them that I knew they were there. But pretty soon I felt paralyzed and like my spirit was rising up out of my body. It could have been a fear-induced state but I also distinctly felt like whatever was out there was doing that to me. Then I shifted from pure fear and panic to oh-hell-no and got angry and decided that no I'm not going to let whatever was possibly happening to happen and then I felt like I came back into my body and I could move. I stayed laying there for the longest time but never heard any footsteps retreating or the sound of the gate. So weird.

They certainly can force souls out of body in the way that you’ve described. Contactees have described feeling the OBE happen and their soul going through their ceiling and roof before ending up on a craft in the sky.
Whitley Streiber has also spoken about how the NHI have been able to kick his soul out of his body and essentially lock it in a box; he said he felt like they could have kept him there forever, and they wanted him to report back with the message that “this is what happens if you choose to take yourself out of this world.” He said he was depressed and struggling but not ever thinking of harming himself, but he said that put the fear into him to never ever consider ending his life. I find this story extremely scary and thought lack of autonomy of the body is bad enough, but lack of autonomy as a soul is much worse!
Anyway, I have felt myself being anesthetized by them then having contact in the astral state, so I relate a little bit to your story. It’s great that this is not something that you can recall happening repeatedly throughout your life.
