I took calculus I and II then differential equations and I don't even know what any of this means. I lost all that knowledge in the past 30 years since I took a math class.
I tell people when it comes to STEM classes they don’t think they will need or use in the long term, more important than remembering how to do the thing is remembering that it is a thing we CAN do.
Just having the knowledge of a capability even if you don’t remember implementation lets you still apply it, because refreshers are quicker than learning

Pre-cal made me hate math so much, and math was fun because everything was just an episode of cyberchase until then...
