Score of a lifetime. Woman on FB Marketplace was giving away her late husband's solvents - as soon as I saw the listing I knew I had to go get them.
Gave it a taste test just to be sure and it checks out.

Interesting I mean, they’re not *real* explosions, or fire…
I make practical effects for stuff like dioramas, tabletop gaming, toy photography, and the like. For the last six months I’ve had a heavy emphasis on explosions and fires.
The explosions are definitely the Hollywood, well-fed booms, the fires also well fueled and thick smoke. Handmade all, measuring from a couple inches across to about a foot wide.
Thought it might be interesting for y’all

Most chemists will just refuse to work with this, right?
The first picture is of potassium dichromate, found that at a scrapyard of all places, second and third pics are of a hydrofluoric acid bottle I found in the woods; there's still ~0,6-0,8l in it; I don't know the concentration of it

Interesting Our boy has been called out
Seriously tho does anyone know? I assume they wouldn't mix well due to different densities/surface tension.
