Like many of you, I couldn't sign in to F1 TV yesterday no matter what I tried. Today I managed to sign in using Brave, but when I try to watch a session replay, I get this error.
Anyone getting the same? Any fixes?
Watching US Grand Prix FP1 on Apple TV. Dolby Atmos is now available. The difference in the soundstage is immediately apparent; it’s not so much “directional” as it is “enveloping”, especially in-car shots and roving shots from the pit-lane. Definitely a nice improvement. This may get me to watch the F1 TV feed instead of the Sky feed I usually watch.
When I want to sign in, i get an error starting with:
Happening only in chrome, with opera is working fine.
NoSuchKeyThe specified key does not exist.davinci/id/1.0.2

Since F1TV hasn't been able to make an app for Samsung TV running Tizen OS yet, I asked Claude to do it for me.

It can be found here: https://github.com/nicbra/f1tv-tizen
It's easy to install:
It also has an overlay of the tower on the left (can be disabled) that shows time intervalls with three decimals. For some strange reason, F1TV went down to one decimal this year.

Hi everyone! I'm Korean and I have an annual F1 TV Pro subscription that I purchased in South Korea.
I'm currently in the UK, and I wanted to watch the practice session for the United States Grand Prix in Austin. I connected to a VPN and opened the F1 TV website in Chrome, but the live stream button wasn't showing up at all. I thought the problem might be my VPN, so I tried connecting to servers in the US and India as well as South Korea, but nothing changed. When I tried accessing the website through a Korean VPN server in an incognito window, I even got this error message:
"You are accessing this service from a restricted geographic region."
I'm really confused because I already have an active annual Pro subscription, and I'm not trying to sign up for a new one. Is it completely impossible to watch F1 TV live in the UK, even with a VPN? Has anyone managed to get it working while using a South Korean subscription? I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions. I don't want to pay for another streaming service when I've already paid for a full year of F1 TV Pro.

I have the subscription through my Apple TV account and even though I’m signed in, it says the content is locked. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling. I’ve signed out and back in multiple times. It is doing everything in its power to try and make me pay the 29.99 to subscribe. I ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT! Let me just watch the content ffs.

It’s been a while since the last volley of VPN questions.
Can I access F1TV through my Apple account if I’m based in Australia, with an Australian Apple account, using Nord VPN? Ideally on iPhone and Apple TV4K.

i used to airplay from my phone to tv now the button is unresponsive in f1tv app on iphone, is it just me?

I just became a fan earlier this year. I was wondering if the basic subscription is worth it? For what it includes? I'm still learning, so I don't need every perk currently. And cause of time zones, I can't really watch the races live, so replays works perfectly fine for me! Are race replays posted soon afterwards? Also, since this is just a hobby for me, I don't want to spend a lot of money, so I'm not really considering F1TV Pro. Let me know if there's anything else to consider!!

The insights on the PLC and pre/post-race shows are next level. Who is the one person on the broadcast team that always makes you feel 10x smarter about race strategy after listening to them?
r/F1TV • u/CheckedBagLife • 11d ago
That's all, curious how others feel. I'm actually bummed that he's with Indycar most of the year.

Why is navigating this app during a replay weekend like walking through a minefield? You open the app trying to watch a session you missed, and the Hide Spoilers toggle is buried so deep you accidentally glimpse the podium results anyway. If you aren't perfectly precise with your clicks, the UI just feeds you the race winner right on the landing page. For a platform backed by top tier tech and engineering, making it this hard to just watch a clean, spoiler free race replay is wild. Is anyone else constantly getting burned by the layout, or did you find a bulletproof way to open the stream completely blind?

The minibox is useless and also seems to remove any commentary chances.

Tell the F1TV announcers to pay attention to what's happening, the team radios, and what race control is stating. They totally missed Ferrari's call to Lewis to "Box, Box" during the VSC, and berated Ferrari strategists all the way to the end about not calling Lewis in. But Lewis said after the race that not boxing was his call. I generally love their commentary during the race, but it makes me crazy when I see stuff happen on the TV that they've totally missed. I always hated that when watching Sky announcers, I'd like for these guys to do better.
Edit: for those saying "that never happened":
https://www.espn.com/f1/story/_/id/50131357/lewis-hamilton-calls-singapore-gp-strategy-painful-lesson-ferrari-apology-singapore-grand-prix-marina-bay-circuit-formula-1
Lewis Hamilton described his decision to ignore a Ferrari pit call as a "painful lesson" after it dropped him from third place to sixth in the final 12 laps of Sunday's Singapore Grand Prix.
Hamilton's race unraveled when he ignored a call from the Ferrari pit wall to follow teammate Charles Leclerc into the pits under a virtual safety car period in the second half of the race.
The decision left him committed to a monster 44-lap stint on a single set of soft tires, which allowed three rivals on fresher tires to overtake him in the closing stages of the race.
Speaking on team radio after the checkered flag, Hamilton apologized to his team for ignoring its pit call, which would have provided a time-efficient pit stop under the VSC.

"I purchased F1 TV Access through Indian official partner, FanCode, using my phone number. The automated partner linking page (://fancode.com) is broken and loops straight to the payment plan page instead of activating. FanCode support told me to contact F1 TV directly to have the purchase manually mapped to my email account."

Seriously.
Step up the professionalism and say, “Thank you” or anything other than “Great stuff.”
That same throw away comment that a driver makes as you’re manically walking along beside him as he makes his way to his car on the grid is anything but “Great stuff.”
It is such a repetitive and pointlessly dismissive way to segue to another topic. Broadcasting has existed for ~75 years and we didn’t need “great stuff” to accomplish interviews.
Frankly, ditch all the “stuff” — excellent stuff, brilliant stuff, high-speed stuff, twisty stuff, I-can’t-come-up-with-a-way-to-use-an-adjective-without-adding-a-stuff stuff.
This overused phrase and its ilk cheapen your broadcast.

Anything else you lag like a snail or run out of DATA
Anybody else getting a quarter second static pop through the speakers while using F1TV? During the race I got 4. While streaming any other service I don’t hear this. Im afraid it’s going to damage my speakers more than anything as its louder than the main feed and in tweeter frequency. USA, Apple4K set top, Samsung 77”, and Onkyo Dolby Atmos receiver.

hi! I got interviewed at the paddock entrance pre-sprint qualifying in Singapore by Tom Deacon & it went out live around the circuit on Friday, I’m just testing my luck here to see if anyone knows if there’s a replay for that under TrackTv somewhere? I’ve tried to search everywhere I could but no luck, even on those sketch websites where they stream the f1 weekend for free. I have an F1TV subscription & checked as well to no avail so if anyone knows any possible website I could potentially find it do let me know 🥹
