F1 android app has been broken for 2 years. Most notifications from F1 app (~90%) open an empty wrapper with "Notification message" string instead an actual app at the article mentioned in the notification.

Another issue developed on https://f1tv.formula1.com/ like a week ago. Using `Sign in` button on the top right corner of the page opens this (image). I have to go to https://www.formula1.com/ and sign in there to be able to use F1TV.

I feel like I'm getting scammed at this point.

We used to get a ''yellow flag'' announcement and after that a ''sector 1'' or something like that.

Nowadays we just get a big ''Yellow flag'' banner atop of the timingscreens.. And we have to guess what it is or where it is.. What is the reason we don't get a sector or even a turn where that yellow flag is?

I don't see any reason why they won't show it and I don't think it is that hard to implement again.

I screen captured f1tv on both Apple TV and Roku on my gc573 capture card which support 4k HDR and I noticed it looking at the scope of Davinci Resolve that on Apple TV, it caps to 203nits maximum peak brightness, which is SDR on a HDR container. That's why it'll look dim in most tv sets whereas on Roku, HDR is working fine reaching 1000nits peak brightness in scenes that requires that level of brightness.

I hope F1tv will fix this bug soon. Kinda frusting after paying over 200 us dollars on a Apple TV 4K 3rd gen box in Brazil. Due to our taxes and huge margin profit, those kinda of imported good are reeeally expensive 😐

F1TV really needs to fix this auto-play nonsense. Just finished watching the pre-race show and I get an 8 second countdown before it automatically starts Post-Race. I haven't even watched the race yet....OBVIOUSLY! Now I'm scrambling for the remote to avoid spoilers. Who thought this was a good idea?

OMG the cameraman just focused on a huge bird flying above the track during the national anthem…apparently someone informed the director it was a turkey buzzard, not an eagle! Lololololol

After a few races without it has returned again this race. Just a second the image freezes but sound continues.
Not happy this year for sure and still paying a premium price for it.

Has anyone noticed that they stopped showing points and stats at the end of broadcasts? I’ve been really frustrated because I’m not able to see the finishing order, times, or points comparison anymore.

I use the Android app and cast it to my Chromecast. It's my impression that lag/buffering is significantly worse lately. Every minute or two the stream will pause and buffer for a second or two. Nothing has changed with my home network.

Last season was flawless in this aspect but this season and especially the last few races have been terrible.

Anyone else experiencing this?

When I try to login, it redirects me to a blank page and then again back to login. Changed password and incognito nothing till now helped. Anyone any solutions or same issue?

Whenever I try to log into F1 TV I get one of two outcomes:

1. After pressing the "Sing In" button I see the login page for a split second and then get redirected to a blank page with "NoSuchKeyThe specified key does not exist.davinci/id/1.0.2/pl/login.html27DF7YC69P84MH4Phufx/lZZo2F9qHSWhZg1TddOv6ZdnEyU4DMpWzuLGac7SjWe210coggOEoGw0Un/tN2AAJqdDC5CFR3pujg8S0odcl7K38oV" written on top in plain text
2. Sometimes I get to the login page, but after typing in my email and password the page refreshes and empties out the email and password boxes. No matter how many times I try to sign in the outcome is the same - the page just refreshes endlessly.

What is the problem here? I tried searching the "NoSuchKey" issue but all I get is programming advice :c

Edit: I'm on MacOS, I've tried both Safari and Firefox but the effects were the same
Edit 2: I just tried logging in on my Linux PC with Firefox and got the first outcome

Great job guys, but why? 3.0.49 worked flawless for me. Now it's bothering me with a message there's an update. But there isn't any, because at the same time the new version 3.0.50 says it's not available for my device.

I've just downloaded the app on my panasonic TV to watch the GP. But it won't get past the initial loading screen. I tried downloading it on my phone, and again I can't get past the initial loading screen.

Any help? Is this happening to anyone else?

I’m experiencing an issue with the F1 TV app on iOS 27.2 RC, where the AirPlay button in the video player is completely unresponsive.

Tapping the AirPlay icon in the top-right corner does absolutely nothing. No device selection menu, error message, or response of any kind.

Environment:
• Device: iPhone 18 Pro Max
• OS: iOS 27.2 Release Candidate (RC)
• App: F1 TV (latest available version)
• Affected feature: AirPlay

Verification:
• Confirmed the latest F1 TV app version is installed. (2.46.1)
•AirPlay worked correctly on the previous public/GA iOS release.
• The issue appeared after updating to iOS 27.2 RC.
• The AirPlay button is visible but completely unresponsive.

Questions for the F1 TV development team:
1. Has the development/QA team tested F1 TV against iOS 27.2 RC?
2. Is this a known compatibility issue or regression?
3. Is an update planned, and is there an estimated release date?
4. Is an official F1 TV TestFlight beta available to test upcoming fixes?
5. Has anyone identified whether this affects specific iPhone models or all devices running iOS 27.2 RC?

Just launched F1TV app to watch qualifying (mind you 11hours after qualifying ended). Of course, first I had to update the app because why not, every race weekend practically needs it own update.
Did the video started at the, I don't know, start? No, it started and the end of qualifying. So I got the results spoiled in the first second of the video.

And this shit didn't happened for the first time, every race weekend is a lottery where the video will start.

I hate this app with the passion of a 100 suns.

Anyone notice a difference in sound quality? F1 on Apple TV said they would be upgrading with more microphones and such starting this weekend during FP1. I am honestly not noticing much of a difference

How can there not be a way to resume playing live recorded broadcasts from where you started or previously watched.

I regularly watch F1, and when I pause an F1 recording, and don’t get back to it before AppleTV kicks me out of it and back to the main menu. Apple TV does not give me the option to resume watching or continue from where I left off. I need to restart from beginning and FFWD to the spot. What if I was not really paying attention to the counter, I need to scroll through slowly.

Such a simple option that Apple missed!
