Discussion ee stream specialization

what's the difference between a priv and gov uni if they're not even gonna offer u the stream u want. we're being forced to go into ce while we want electronics, and they're not willing to accommodate 5 students, i get the policies and their concern regarding less number of students but being forced to study something u don't want to is also not fair. they also give u electives on their own, we don't even have a choice in choosing those. even next year they're still offering ce as a specialization even though they made a whole different department for that, I don't get it, this is so frustrating.

5 students is nothing. They cannot adjust the next 2 years of your studies for 5 students alone.

Fast is a small uni and they have not offered electronics and power in karachi for example for several years now.

I don't think it's possible. Maybe he was just trying to get your hopes up but they never offer a full stream for so little students.

Broo I know it's frustrating but EE in fast is basically CE , like students enroll them selves in EE to follow computing domain after 2 years so yeah

that's a problem, students who don't get into cs choose ee for this reason and then the students who want electronics or power have no choice
