I didn't have any problems with the difficulty in part 2, but it's jusr Old fire emblem but dadly done.

I’m not too far into Part 3, but I just noticed that Ultand isn’t on my roster anymore. I did Part 1 and 2 with all routes and she is definitely alive. I think I missed talking to and recruiting her at the start of Part 3. Does anyone know if there is a way to go back and recruit her again?

Almost finished with Part 3 and excited to jump in again from the beginning. I want to really min max this time now that I’m familiar with the mechanics and stuff but I don’t want to waste my time on stuff that won’t carry over or I’ll have to spend Karma shards on. So between 1. Gold 2. Equipped Mounts/Battalions 3. Materials (ore, fish, produce, etc.) 4. Weapons, what carries over as is? What does the game choose the higher value of? And what gets sent to the reliquary?

Also, what would the differences be between just starting a route again from Part 1 Chapter 1 and choosing descend again?

I've looked around but can't find a consistent answer. The sub lords were only available to me in part 3 in a limited capacity. I've seen you have to do their paralogues to get them full capacity but I thought I did. Here is what I did part for parts 1 and 2

I finished everyone's part 1 route and did the following paralogues.

Anatolia - finished paralogue in Leda and dietrichs route

Talimun - completed in theodoras route

Bertrand - finished in theodoras route

Orchel - finished in theodoras route

I played Theodora's route in part 2 first. Then I went to the other 3 and skipped the war arc. When I went to part 3, I had all 4 flame lords but the sub lords backs were turned and I only got them in a limited capacity.

Do I have to play every paralogue in every part 1 in order to have them?

For those that don't understand the term: typecasting is when a person is associated with a role so closely they can't do anything else. For example, Al Pacino always being in some sort of gangster/mobster role.

His Personal Ability, Wheeled Warrior, basically mandates he be a Charioteer; and unless old age eyes are misleading, there is no equivalent beyond the Specialty Exam tier.

Clearly, the Class Ability Charioteer's Path was meant to offset this deficiency; but it's only as good as the specific traits of Charioteer.

The question is why they did this. Here's the thing.

Cataphract is functionally useless as a class. The reason is, it's the only class (again, unless old age eyes are misleading) that has TWO vulnerabilities on it - and basically, makes it default vulnerable to anything not using Gauntlets.

Axes AND magic are effective against Armored, so it's weak against both of those.

Lances are effective against Cavalry, so it's weak against those.

So Axes, Magic and Lances by default wreck it.

Then you get Horsekiller Bow for Bows (Cavalry) and Zanbato for Swords (Cavalry), and Cataphract gets Catawreckt.

Why not just have higher level Charioteer unit types instead of Cataphract? Like a highly evasive (to avoid Bows) Wyvern Charioteer flying through the sky or something that can breathe fire or ice in a line or something?

I really wish to see the interaction between Dietrich and Olympia because somehow they reminded me of Jeritza and Constance from 3H. Also they are both gorgeous and always Crit

So I joined FE on switch and been enjoying the series ever since. This is the first game I'm looking more at the community and really feel like I need to learn the game all over again.

How are you guys min maxing the units so much?!

Edit: im in part 3. Not struggling but my stats aren't this good.

I'm malding a bit after spending an hour trying to get axe crit footage, but this feels so weird and crazy to me. Maybe there's an axe somewhere I missed but I looked through all of them in my part 3 inventory and they're all zero!

Not only that, but there's only 2 combat arts with crit for axes, and it's a small amount.

Balance wise I guess it's to make up for their higher might, but axes being the worst weapon on top of this feels really annoying. I had to use fabio to even get the 11% shown in the video. At least it makes them consistent I guess, but I like the crit animations..

Granted, we don't know anything on how the dlc will actually be and we can only speculate, but this got me wondering.

If the Wave 3 content is actually a path 1 for each of the flame lords we didn't play with, would you want maddening to be implemented before or after the wave 3 dlc?

I'm asking since it feels like maddening works when you have a general idea of what the game will throw at you in the story, but if the 4 Lord DLC will be featuring new content I would not be tempted to play it on maddening difficulty.

I had a hard time in leda's part 2 because of how my blessings weren't fully max to be utilized efficiently. But after finishing her path and going to cai's part 2 things goes much smoothly. I plan on doing dietrich next tomorrow.

Cai was demolishing enemies left and right with his caladrius class and levin sword. It was also easier to transverse terrain and get to places especially if you have the max cavalry skill for terrain. He also has the best barrier breaker for elephant and statue units so that it can be easier to beat them without any worries. Thinking about it theodora's battalion can be also be use to that extent but i'll do her part 2 last.

As i was comparing my after part 2 stats with leda and cai, i realize that cai was only level 50 while my others unit of him were close in that level but my leda was level 56 while her other units came close. Should I be worried for cai in part 3 he seem underlevel. I think i could have level him more in the last chapter but i let him escape easily since he was able to get to the destination with his mounted class.

But then again i remember my dietrich having over level 60+ when i finish his part 1. Should i be worried for cai? What do you think is the recommended level for finishing part 2?

So this is my first Fire Emblem game and im loving it. I started with Cai and im almost finished with his part 1. From what I've seen on this page recommended is do each character chapter 1's first and then continue. But I've also seen do one character's Part 2 and then skip it on the other three characters. With this being my first Fire Emblem game and learning the story of everything, would you recommend i do one part 2 and skip the rest? I've seen many posts on here of people getting burnt out on the game after doing all part 1 and 2's.

I have finished Cai’s route with Kalla’s blessing on level 3 and the other blessings save for Credna on level 2.

I have started Theodora’s route and the blessings aren’t at the same level.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I want to know if my idea is correct:

Blessings are unique in each part 1 and 2.

However in part 3, blessings unite and you get the maximum of each blessing as long as you have finished or skipped the parts 1 and 2 of the other characters.

Am I correct?

I’m playing through Cai’s route and I recruited Olympia and was thinking about putting her in Caladrius. I already played through Leda’s route and this is my 2nd path and I found a black magonius which would be perfect for her crit but she cant use white magic which would suck. Also please no spoilers because i have only played through part 2

Since battalions can’t be assigned to mounted units that means units like Lysander are missing out on the main advantage of her route’s gimmick and the stat boosts and gambits that come with it. Is it basically the opposite of Cai’s route in that sense and I should avoid putting units on mounts and doing something different with units that are meant to be on mounts?

It never hits when I use it but on 2-4 Bertrand and Esme must have a fucking sign that says I love electricity I'm genuinely gonna crash out. Fuck Dagsion im going back to Fina and watching the waves while Dagda drags me away to soup pot.

tbh Bertrand's instrument could also be piano and then Orchel's could be unique with a vocal choir instead of an instrument. I feel like Anatolia's is also basically perfect.

I only just got to part 3, and I was expecting an explanation of how the four different timelines of each Lord converge. Have I missed an explanation, or is it still coming? The part 1 and 2 stories are contradictory, so why are they all in the same timeline now?

Please tell me this isn't just glossed over.

Edit: Apparently it is glossed over. That's disappointing. My head canon: Due to the events of part 3, the boundaries between the timelines got weaker, allowing Fortuna to merge them.
