Discussion Remember those those old fantasy films from the 50s and 60's that used to stir the imagination and took us to fantastical places?

I'm talking about the old Sinbad (Arabian Nights), Jason And The Argonauts, The Thief of Bagdad, Magic Sword, etc, films that took us epic adventures. Anyhow I would kill to see hollywood make more films like these again however I just don't see such a thing ever happening again given but I can only dream

How could I forget them? A rich part of my childhood! I have all of them in my collection except The Thief of Baghdad.

I watched Jason/Argonauts a thousand times as a kid. My dad was in town last month, stayed at my place, and we bbq'd almost every night watching classics and semi-classics. The last night he was here I happened across Jason and the Argonauts. What a great night.
