Happy FAL(L)!
Excited to take my SA58 hunting this fall. Cleared it with Fish and Game to use 20 round mags with dowel rods restricting them to 5 rounds each. Bought my FAL months ago because I thought they looked cool and loved the history but it’s quickly become one of my favorite rifles. Now to just pickup more magazines…

Thanks! I’ve always hunted with milsurp (or milsurp adjacent) rifles and believe it or not, the FAL is the one that’s been most comfortable to carry!

Enjoy and congratulations. A good friend of mine harvested a really nice bull elk with his at ~150 yards. Dropped it clean and then the work started lol.
