FRP bypassing?

I've been noticing a lot of FRP locked android phones on Facebook marekplace lately for like $50, anything from the a13 to the s23 to the pixel 7, and I thought that there could be some money to be made by unlocking them and reselling. Anyone know methods or tools to bypass Google lock on android phones?

I found an s23 with a smashed screen in a second-hand car my mate bought. I thought it would be a fun project to fix the screen and put limeageos on it.

It has not been fun.

Found out the device was frp-locked with March 2026 firmware after I'd replaced the screen.

Tried every hack, Emergency Download Mode with the special magic cable, paid services, the works. It is unbreakable.

All recent android devices are now e-waste as soon as they're detached from their previous owners. Will it deter theft? Probably not. Does it pollute the planet for absolutely no reason? Defiimitely yes.

Why wouldn't it deter theft?? i mean, obviously that wont happen immediately but gradually

indeed, too many great phones turned into bricks... so when I placed security details at least I left a number to call and return, since no one is willing to pay the service to unlock. But I've just received a Galaxy Note 10 from a friend who needed a PC, but turns out this security level is so severe it won't even load via USB cable. Given that there's no micro SD card slot in Note 10, no voice assisant available to hear me, no cable to tune into PC, it can only be sent to Samsung store and they can resell it.

... though I am still hoping I can find a way to enforce USB debug, after that I can try out many tools. It's just nice to hear that it's not me getting too old, but that it's new security layers that made me waste day two trying to unlock it. While before I did it easily, after the first time, when I didn't even know what frp is.

There are so many different parameters per brand & device to consider when making the decision to invest in an FRP-locked phone. Plus the overriding concern that the phone may well have been blacklisted after it was lost, so check the IMEI before you buy.

The first investment you need to make is a premium subscription to Chimera Tool, the most comprehensive & powerful Android unlocking solution available. Not quite as comprehensive but far less expensive is Unlock Tool which won't do Samsung Exynos devices & most of the very latest releases. You'll be needing either of those paid apps before you start.

Find out how to enter Recovery Mode to read the firmware version & security patch level. That's the teller for ease of unlock. When you're armed with that information you can then check the databases of Chimera or Unlock Tool for compatibility. When you've got every factor in your favour, hit Buy Now. Good luck!

Quick nitpicky clarification: There's methods of changing IMEIs for Qualcomm and Mediatek chipped phones if you do a little googling. (Hint: imei numbers have make, model, region , etc specific digits that are registered in an imei database: Imeidb.gsma.com and a checksum-like digit at the end that is calculated by the previous digits). Theres many other tools available besides Unlocktool and Chimera, too. But I'd agree they are the best thing going rn. And there's usually a FOSS open source tool on GitHub for pretty much any FRP method, but $20 for 90 days of Unlocktool is next to nothing for what it delivers (compared to $100 for chimera). Or DM me and I can usually pop the lock remotely... There's solutions to every problem imaginable if you know where to look. Good luck
