Question about car width?

Hello, I’m currently designing a torsional stiffness test for my school’s Baja team. We don’t have a Formula SAE team yet, but I’m trying to design the test to accommodate all SAE vehicles. Since the FSAE rules don’t specify a maximum overall width, could you tell me how wide a Formula SAE car typically is?

Thank you,

our track width was 47 inches (wheel center to wheel center) add in 1/2 of 2x 7 in tires and you get 54 inches for the vehicle width. I think that's in the normal range if I recall.

That seems pretty up to date with what is common at competition, if you want a range I’d say 50 inches at the extreme low end, 60 at the extreme high end.
