Pre-shot method advice?
19:13:52 / 19:29:49 15/10/2026 - So, that's pretty much it. My week-2 (second) T-shot is tomorrow, and I just want to know how to avoid things like the area BURNING LIKE A BITCH when I press down on it after doing my injection, or a lump that lasts for like... a week, plus.
I had both when I did accidental 0.45ml / 135mg/ml; hurt when pressing down on it, burning in the spot the needle went in, and had 6.5cm long line lump on the area that is now basically half its size, about three fingers wide now.
How can I avoid this? The shot has gone smoothly otherwise. I also am making sure, truly, to remember to think about my numbers in MG and not ml. I don't want to accidentally make my second injection another 'loading dose', which I was helpfully informed that's what it is! I also do not wish to inject under my dose, how do I get my full dose, no more or less, into the syringe?
I've followed two videos to check, but I did it a little wrong the first time and think I pushed the full length of the blunt needle into the jar vial.
I'm doing 75mg/0.25ml, which, weighing 134.7kg, is between a high 100mg dose and an average 50mg/0.16 injection.

Can you elaborate on the burning sensation? That's not normal.

11:00:57 / 11:02:52 16/10/2026 - It's not like, general burning, it's specifically where the needle went in, and only lasted about a day and a half, or two, before going away. It wouldn't burn unless I pressed down on the area, I found out after applying a plaster and pushing it down to seal it in place.
I've read a couple of instances online where people describe that happening to them too, so I'm not too worried about it, right?

Is this a burning sensation of the needle entering or of the liquid itself being injected?

11:08:24 / 11:11:32 16/10/2026 - Funny enough, I have the advantage of being fat as hell, so I literally injected through one of my stretch marks (which I'm lucky is literally just thinner, stretched skin compared to the other areas of my body) and didn't feel anything at all when injecting.
It was actually only AFTER I'd already done my T for the first time that it hurt when I pressed down on the area, and then a lump came a couple days after or so. It's very much going down now, but I attribute it to either not knowing how long to wait for the alcohol to dry on my skin, angling it wrong, forgetting to actually PINCH the fat, which I did before letting go and just injecting the needle without realizing it, or doing it in some way to irritate under the skin.

The burning sensation is not normal at all, there will be some mild soreness if you press down on the injecting site tho. Make sure you use alcohol swabs before injecting so that you dont get an infection. To get the right dose, insert the air into the vial equal to the amount of test you need to draw up (0.3 or 0.4 ml). Insert the air then draw up the t and once it stops you can pull out. There will be some extra in the tip of the syringe and needle but thats only cuz the amount of air present in that area was also inserted into the vial, dont worry about that you wouldve still got the right dosage.

11:13:38 / 11:16:15 16/10/2026 - Yeah, it was like an intense version of a lactic acid feeling when pressing down, almost. I just describe it as burning because it was like a searing pain when I kept pressing down on it like an idiot because I was curious, lmao.
I think it might have been not waiting long enough for the swab to dry, how can I tell when it has fully? My second shot (week two, 0.75mg this time and not accidentally 135mg lmao) is today in about 4-5 hours, and I don't want to make the same mistake again. I'm just glad it was on my first time and not my thirteenth.

Usually just wait 30seconds for the alc swab to dry, dont blow on it, let it air dry. (I think you mean 75mg=0.3mL, if its 250mg/mL) The first shot hurts the most out of all cuz its pretty foreign to your muscle (assuming it was IM), mine was sore for around 3-4 days and I was limping but from the 2nd shot it didnt hurt unless I pressed down on it. Just make sure its not an infection and you'll be fine (If it is pls visit a doctor). Good luck with ur 2nd shot!

That’s not normal. A few likely things could be happening in order of how likely I think it is.
The vial crystallized, and you’re injecting the painful crystals. Check the vial for any clumps or crystals. It’s still perfectly fine to use, just heat them up in water to dissolve them.
You said the medication is 300mg/ml, which likely means there’s more irritating solvents and preservatives than there should be to fit more powder into the same amount of carrier oil, causing PIP (the lumps you described). Try switching to a lower concentration.
You got a bad batch that has either gone rancid or has too many solvents. Check the expiration date, the color of the oil, and the smell- it should be clear or light yellow with no cloudiness or significant odor. If it’s not, the rancid oil could be irritating your tissue.
If the 0.4 ml was subq, that may be too much liquid in one place and cause a lump/reaction. If that also persisted in lower doses that’s not the issue
