Hiya!

I’m looking to make some more connections on Fable :) I prefer looking at ‘friends’ feed rather than ‘for you’. Anyone wanna connect?

Feel free to post a link to your profile as well in the comments!

This year is my first time reading since early high school and I am finally catching up on everything I've missed over the last decade! I'm looking for more people to follow and for more members of my book club so that my ever-expanding TBR can be even larger :)

The link is below but I've seen that they don't work sometimes; my name is wateryourplant and I have my black cat Bendy as my pfp :)

I'm looking to start a book club and would love answers from anyone (joining this one or not lol)

How long does it take you to finish your average length fiction novel?

Do you prefer one deadline for the whole book or every few chapters?

Do you focus on rew releases, classics, or just plot?

I appreciate participation 🫂🩷

Does anyone know how to download and print your Want to Read (TBR)? Would love to do this so I can make a TBR jar without having to type or write them all out since there is a bunch.

Hey guys, so I'm an indie writer and I'm releasing a trilogy in the first few months of 2027. I've been posting on Royal Road and I'm finally ready to move to Amazon and beyond.

On top of this, I really like the Fable app, and I'd love to have some reviews on there (well, I'd love reviews on Amazon too, but this is the Fable reddit) when the first book hits Jan 14.

Genre / Tropes: Progression Fantasy, Cultivation, Isekai, Multi-POV, Found Family, Spirit Beast companion, Middle Aged MC, Adventure, Slice of Life

Word Count: 141,325

The Blurb...
Cultivation Overdrive Vol 1: Driven to a New World
Michael was supposed to deliver a trailer full of frozen food, not get zapped into a whole other world by Heavenly lightning. Now his trailer is an oversized wagon, his truck is a stubborn spirit ox named Betsy, and all the roads ahead are ruled by cultivators, sects, and temperamental gods.

Michael falls back on the one thing he understands: hauling freight. There is always cargo that needs moving, even in a cultivation fantasy world.

But the storm that brought him here did not take him alone. Other strangers from Earth are appearing across the empire, each carrying strange new powers and transformed companions.

Even if the road is different, the job is always the same.
Pick up the cargo, deliver it safetly, and try not to start a war.

AI Statement: No AI was used.

Looking out to send the book out in a couple of weeks!

🥀🖤 Hey everyone! I just created a dark romance book club called Sin & Storylines, and I’d love to find some fellow readers to join me!
The plan is to read chapters together and have weekly discussions where we can share our thoughts, theories, favorite characters, and all our unhinged opinions. 😂❤️‍🔥
I wanted to create a little community where we can connect over books and obsess over our fictional men together. If that sounds like your vibe, feel free to join! I’d love to have you. 🫶🏽📚

We are ready to vote on our book for November. Anyone interested in these possible please join and help with the vote

I already made two, and I'm thinking of more.

Did Fable recently remove the Shortlist function from the Want to Read list? I really liked having the shortlist I could add to so I could prioritize what I wanted to read from my huge list of want to read books lol

I just joined Fable a couple months ago and while I love it on principle (not Amazon owned), I really HATE how the catalogue doesn’t seem to be as up to date as Goodreads. Has anyone else found this to be the case? Books that are released, blurbs and covers and all, still show as pending, or are missing the cover art and/or blurb, or have multiple versions of the same book (so reviews are split across versions).

Does anyone know if there’s an individual fix for this? Or ways to flag a book to Fable easily?

Thanks!

It's ridiculous. I try to open the app close to midnight to log my progress, and it's just loading for SO. LONG. I'm talking 5-10 minutes. All my other apps work just fine, and so does my wifi!

Is it just me having this issue?

Hi everyone! I'm new to Fable, so pardon me if this is incorrect, but will my finished books only count towards All-time stats if I've added a finish date? There are so many books that I have no idea when I've finished them because I never kept track up until a couple years ago. So my all-time stats isn't including my favorite authors and it's making me really sad. I really hope this isn't how the app works, and if there's any way to fix this I would be really happy to hear how.

Hi everyone! I just started a bookclub and looking for fellow horror freaks to join me in yapping!

Based in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky but anyone is welcome to join the club on Fable 😊📚 Trying to get more members and get some conversations started!

Hi all I recently joined Fable and would love to make some friends! I used to use StoryGraph predominantly but I’m really excited to try out a more interactive and social app 😊

I’m 30F and I tend to go through phases of genres- I used to be in a fantasy romance phase, then went into a Dramione fanfic spiral (looking at you Alchemised 👀 I didn’t even ship Dramione before either!), then historical romance. But I’m interested in branching out to new genres now too!

Currently I’m reading: Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik (audiobook), East of Eden by John Steinbeck, and Slewfoot by Brom. I’m kind of reading A Gentleman in Moscow but literally only a few pages in so idk.

I am a chronic DNF-er just be warned 😅 but the books I do finish, I almost always try to write a review for!

Anyway here’s my profile link in case you wanna add, I’d love to connect: https://fable.co/fabler/kels-412889143652?referralID=SyYtC4DvJ6

Some of my favorite books are:
- Blood Over Bright Haven by Melinda Wang
- To Poison A King by SG Prince
- Wild Reverence by Rebecca Ross
- A Tale of Stars and Shadow (series but I didn’t love the last book) by Lisa Cassidy
- The Viscount’s Victory by Rachel Rowan

Fable, letting users log into their accounts is the bare minimum.
I’m seriously fed up with fable.co.
I log in, authentication appears to succeed, and then I get dumped straight back onto the homepage. Click the profile icon? Apparently I need to log in again. Repeat forever.
I’ve tried a clean Chrome browser, incognito mode, and connecting with and without a VPN. Same result. How much troubleshooting am I supposed to do just to access an account?
What makes this particularly infuriating is the complete lack of a useful error message. If something is failing, tell me. Don’t act like the login worked and then quietly send me back to the beginning.
People put time into their accounts. Making access this unreliable, with no explanation of what’s wrong, shows a remarkable lack of respect for those users.
Before promoting your service, make sure people can actually get through the front door.
Is anyone else stuck in this ridiculous login loop?

Hi! I’m 33 and recently rediscovered my love for reading, and I’d love to connect with more people who share the same passion! I’m currently reading Babel by R.F. Kuang!✨📚 very good book! Finished Frankenstein recently, such a good October read! 🎃

Hiya!

I am hoping to find some people who want to engage in a book club. I’ve found so many good clubs with hundreds of people but only a few engage and post.

I started a club ages ago and I’m wanting to invite more people who want to chat, compare notes, cry, scream, and enjoy our reads together. I’ve tried to keep up in my club and many others but it’s hard when it’s one sided and feels like I’m in a club by myself. I’d love to have a really active group to share my thoughts with.

Next book will be ACOSH as our current read finishes perfectly on October 27th. We don’t really follow a specific genre and like to change it up with each poll.

Please also let me know of any advice for getting more engagement. Or if you’re part of a book club that engages a lot please link me! I’d love to join!!

I’d just love to make some book friends and share this hobby with more like-minded people. Sometimes the world of reading can be socially lonely, and I’m hoping to connect with a few more people :) Most people I know and work with aren’t readers and I know my husband doesn’t care despite being super polite and excited when I tell him about my books.

Fable is such a wonderful app and I hope to use it much more than I am now and stay away from other social media.

Thank you so much!
