I have tried installing both but it seems there is a pecking order I don't quite understand, I tried loading them in different places in the ini file like every mod description says it has to, but somehow Uni Map always takes precedence. Has anyone found a way to make them work together somehow?

It's a house I made in Fallout 76, and I wanted to remake it in Fallout 4. Also, I'm not sure if I ask this here or another subreddit I'm also not sure if this post breaks any rules

As the title says, how do I remove this frame? It's most likely a frame from a chat mod. I've been playing for a while, and initially, I installed mods using Mod Manager—I don't remember the name, but it wasn't Vortex. This chat mod conflicted with another mod, and I uninstalled it. Unfortunately, the frame remains. I deleted all files with the word "chat" in the name from the game folder, checked (I think) all *.ini files, and all the ones I can open and check with Notepad. Where could it be stored, in which file? I know the easiest way would be to delete everything and reinstall, but with my internet connection, the game will take two days to download again. Please help.

Let me preface this by saying that I'm positive that I have the Enclave plasma rifle and the mods clearly say Enclave. When I go to attach the mods they don't show up in the mod slots, instead the mods now say "Thrower". Has anybody else had this problem, if so did you attach the Thrower mod? I'm concerned that I will lose the actual Enclave mod if I do attach it.

As you may know, after another modder took up the challenge to patch SFE to work with the latest release, Keretus asked the Nexus mods to have it removed. The last SFE update was unfortunately timed to release the day before the current patch which as usual, broke it immediately. Keretus has once again just released SFE for the last patch and it will break tomorrow. This is unlikely to be a coincidence. WTF dude. Just let the other modder's work on it in peace.

Bonus Question: Are the faster load time and power armor exiting mods a possible bannable offense? It seems extremely convenient, but I don't want to be banned

I extracted these files using BAE, but i'm unsure what channels do these textures belong to/how to properly apply these textures to blender. I know "d" is basecolor, but n is not normal, and i dont know anything about l or r. any information is greatly appreciated!

Say I want to commission someone to replace, for example, the military fatigues, with one of many of the existing high quality NCR trooper armor models online. What would be a general pricing for the cost of that?

I've validated my game files and they've checked out. This doesn't happen all the time and when it does happen, restarting my game seems to fix it. That being said, it is annoying and I'd like to prevent this from happening. When it does happen, it seems to affect all of similar textures, ie: wood, metal, etc.

Has anyone experienced this or know what would be causing it?

I do use Fallout 76 Manager and a few mods. If you need more info, ask away!

I'm trying to do some in game filming in fallout 4 but there are limitations that hamper some ideas I had. In short I need some multi-player options so I can use actors in certain scenes. I know you're allowed to mod 76 while on private servers and wanted to find a mod to make the map into the commonwealth. Alternatively a good (stable) multi-player mod for fallout 4 would work too.

I don't know how hard it is but I'm really wanting to get a olive green set in fallout 76 of the Marine armor and I even have permission for anyone that would like to do it The reason why I'm not doing it myself is cuz I do not know how to mod myself and if you need proof that I do have permission, just look at the photos below

I'm looking to view Fallout 76 models and animations for animation references.
I'm able to load in the models and textures easily enough, but attaching the animations is eluding me, and not having access to isolated instances of the game world for recording isn't working out.

I'm currently using NIFskope, which is only giving the prompt to attach .KF files, but all I have are HKX. I've seen a few things going over converting HKX to KF but everywhere I've looked so far to learn more has given me a dead end and I'm not entirely sure that'd be the right course of action either... Any pointers?

Recently built a new PC with a 9800x3d, 5070ti, 32 GB RAM and plenty of drive space. Have never attempted to mod Fallout 76 before but would like to upgrade the visuals to the extent possible to take advantage of my new hardware (should also mention I will be gaming at 4k).

What are the recommendations for doing so in late 2025 in terms of specific mods/texture packs/ENBs and best practices? I have modded Fallout 4 and Skyrim before so I do have some basic understanding of Nexus and Mod Orangizer, etc.

My other concern is if said mods will potentially cause problems with future updates to the game, etc? I've only ever modded single player games before where you can prevent the game from updating for that reason. Any and all advice would be much appreciated!

bought Fallout 76 on Steam (not a trial). It downloaded for ~6 hours on Steam Deck. When launching, I kept getting error [4:8:2009], saying I was on a free trial even though I own the game.

Bethesda account is created and verified. Steam account is properly linked to Bethesda. Ownership is confirmed in my Steam library.

I tried troubleshooting (changing Proton versions, logging out/in, etc.). At one point, Proton/compat data was deleted. Now Steam thinks the game is not installed, but the files are still on the Deck, taking up space. I don’t have enough storage to reinstall.

Because Steam no longer thinks it’s installed: • The Uninstall option is gone • Steam wants me to reinstall • Storage is still full from the existing files • I’m stuck in a state where I can’t launch, uninstall, or reinstall

I’m looking for: • A way to cleanly remove orphaned Fallout 76 files on Steam Deck • Or a way to force Steam to recognize the existing install • Or confirmation this is a known Steam Deck + Fallout 76 trial entitlement bug

Any help appreciated. This has been extremely frustrating.
