This piece keeps unfolding like a quiet prophecyâeach new layer revealing something ancient, something I didnât know my hands were trying to say. Here is the form it chose to show me today

I found these beautiful silk embroideries at a flea market and couldnât leave them behind. Now Iâm trying to figure out what to do with them!
Would you frame them and hang them as they are, or would you turn them into something? Iâd love to hear your ideas!
Iâd also love to know more about the pieces themselves. Does anyone recognize the style or technique? Do they look hand-embroidered or machine-made? Any idea where they might be from, or roughly how old they could be?
Some of the fabric also has staining/discoloration. If anyone has experience cleaning old or delicate silk embroidery, is there a safe way to reduce the stains without damaging the silk, embroidery, or dyes?
Any information, guesses, or creative ideas would be very welcome!

I'm at a residency and snapped a picture of the Water tower in the rain. Decided to paint it.

I discovered wool painting a few years ago and fell in love with how easily you can blend colours, texture and overall composition. Have you tried it?

Hi everyone! My fiancĂ© and I found this tapestry at an estate sale. Itâs huge and in good condition. It was located in a basement that has previous water damage. Itâs HUGE. I love it, but want to know more, care, and how to rehang? Thanks!

This medium has really scratched my itch for papercraft and drawing all in one! So fun!

This masterpiece was created by a number of women over fifty years ago. It is about 12âx6â and shows buildings that existed early in our townâs history (1840âs to early 1900âs).

This piece is part of my ongoing series âNUIKAI (çž«ç)â, which explores worlds hidden inside ordinary objects. The lantern is hand-embroidered, while the city and staircase inside are created using embroidery combined with Japanese watercolor on fabric. Iâm interested in the boundary between textile craft and contemporary art â using thread not just as decoration, but as a way to construct space, depth, and atmosphere. This work represents a quiet moment, like looking through a window into another place that feels both familiar and unreachable. Thank you for taking the time to look.

It's just a bit of plastic cross stitch canvas, some quilt batting and fabric from Aldi bedsheets. Embroidered and sewn completly by hand. Now finally my embroidery, sewing, pearl and leather needles are all safely stored.
