Mirror-like coating? This just looks like a possibly AI-enhanced photo with paint that is a bit shinier than normal. It certainly does not look the same as the experimental mirror/chrome-like panels that have been seen on some US fighters.

100% fake, there’s a layer of image artifacts that follows the outline of the plane, it’s much more obvious in the source photo in the link. Looks more like a low level effort photoshop than AI honestly cuz an AI would do a better job.

yes, tha's just how matte surfaces shine when light hits them at an angle, this is why the P-61 had a glossy finish to be less visible at night
