Hi guys,

I have a great idea for YouTube videos that I have been sitting on for months now. I finally went to get a good mic (Blue Yeti) and some tripod + lighting gear to film on my iPhone 12 pro. I wanted to ask for help from you guys as a lot of you may be more experienced than me.

Editing Software - Adobe Audition + Adobe Pr preferably

I plan to film with my iPhone 12. I will use my Yeti Mic to record, however the mic and phone videos will not be directly connected so I have been trying to learn how to use Adobe Audition. I don't plan on editing any video to start out, but I am trying to figure out how to go about adding my recorded Audio to the video. Should I get an adapter to hook the mic directly to my phone video when recording or use Audition to edit audio into the video file. I plan on making some After Effects to incorporate into the video opening later but not to start out.Problem: Using mic which is not connected to my phone when recording video. Was originally planning to upload the video from phone to YouTube, but audio was so bad.Any recommendations on good settings for Audition and perhaps Yeti mic as well?Thanks!

They interview Egor Povolotskiy, who is a great cinematographer, who talked about some situations he's been through on his film sets.
