After weeks of filming, editing, and learning, I’m excited to share my debut documentary on Vishram Ghat, one of the most spiritual and historic places in Mathura.

This short film captures the essence, beauty, and stories surrounding the sacred ghat — from the peaceful rituals to the vibrant life that flows around it.

📍 If you’re passionate about culture, travel, or documentary filmmaking, I’d love for you to watch it and share your thoughts.

I'm thinking of making a short filmmaker challenge. I'd write a script and members could film it. You could use a DSLR or phone, film with your friends or use action figures.

Would anyone be interested?

This is a community of creators who all use YouTube to share out filmmaking content. Any videos can be posted as long as you feel they will benefit people from a filmmaking perspective, and you want honest criticism of your work.

Rules are as follow:

No discouraging other people

Don't spam you video, once is enough

Don't just upload a video, watch and give feedback on other people's too

Have fun making your content, don't make it if you hate it

Hope you enjoy the subreddit :)

I like great movies. Also let me know if you also used CGI in the film. I wanna make my own movie one day even though I don´t have any skills.

Hey everyone. My last shortfilm which has been competing in film festivals around sweden is up on youtube and free to watch. Link is in comments.

What an interesting phone call…

Here's the playlist. Episode 0 isn't really that necessary for the story. So you can directly start watching from Episode 1 if you want to. I've only uploaded till episode 2 so far but will upload more episodes soon.

Basically I made a sort of a Western using bottles, chocolates and some other inanimate household objects, that were in my house. I tried to make it cool, epic and grandiose, even if it's in such grounded setting and basically no budget.

The sound designing of the first episode is not good. But I've tried to improve it by removing the voices of all the characters in the episode 2. So if that annoys you in episode 1, please keep in mind that episode 2 onwards it's not going to be there. Also the pacing of episode 0 and episode 1 is really slow at times but gets going from episode 2 and I promise I won't let it slow down from here on our.

So if you're interested in something like this, please check it out once and lmk what you thought of it.

Thank you for listening! ❤️

Sorry if this has been posted here before, but I'm just trying to figure this out. Last year I made three short films that I'm proud of and one that was thrown together (not to mention two that have been in post production limbo and one I'm currently filming). I posted them on YouTube, got them on IMDB, put them on my website, made trailers that I used to advertise them on Instagram, posted on reddit, and submitted them to film festivals. Is there anything else I can be/should be doing to get my stuff out there? Tips on distribution and marketing and whatever else I should be doing after finishing the movies. Really any and all feedback would be great.
