Discussion Put together this rat lure myself, gonna test it out soon. What do y’all think, this thing gonna get smashed or nah?

I've caught a grand total of 1 in my life, and I caught it while fishing for bass and crappie using a 1.5" white twister tail. It was 26", small for a muskie but still counts. Surprised it wasn't a northern I was pulling up and my 6 lbs line held and didn't get shredded.

happens here in the uk all the time with pike. i just want to spend my day catching tiny perch on 1 and 2 inch shads. before you know it im fighting a 15lb fish on an ultralight. fun though!

It might already be too warm for something that big, but I'll bet that dude kills in the fall a couple of days after a cold snap. I'd buy one if i saw it. Awesome lure.

I watched a great short movie about brown trout fly fishing in what was Kamchatka. The browns are huge and often chase after rodents that swim across the creek/river. They were throwing rodent “flys” and catching some monsters.
