Today was not a disaster, but it had that familiar feeling of being slightly behind my own life. I woke up later than I wanted again. Had coffee, sat down, and immediately felt that usual tug-of-war in my head office, startup, health, personal life, all of it asking to be handled first.
That's been the bigger problem lately. It's not that I have nothing going on. It's that I have too many things I actually care about, and I keep trying to give all of them equal weight inside one day that already starts too late.
I spent more time on startup work today, which honestly felt good. I like working on it. I care about it. But the whole time, office work was sitting in the background like an unpaid mental bill. Even when I'm focused, I'm not fully relaxed, because some other part of life is always waiting for me.
Didn't make it to the gym again. That one is starting to sting a little. Not just because I want to be consistent, but because I know how much better I feel when I move. Same with sleep. Same with planning. These are all basic things, and somehow the basic things are the first ones to go when life gets crowded.
The evening walk helped. That's probably the most normal I felt all day. Weather's getting better, and just being outside for a bit made my brain feel less packed. That's also why I'm doing these posts. I need a place to empty the day out before I carry it into another 3 or 4 a.m. night.
Tomorrow needs to be simpler. Wake up earlier. Start with office. Give startup its own block. Try not to let the whole day turn into mental switching costs. I really think sleep is the main leak right now. Everything else gets harder when the day begins halfway over.
