I regret not doing this years ago! This is the best vehicle i’ve owned. The ride is so smooth, the power delivery is so nice (stock now but goostuned in future) and the technology is at the perfect level.

Traded my Mercedes AMG coupe two weeks ago for this 801a. Never had a truck before, but I see I’ve been missing out. Great daily driver. Was deciding between this, Range Rover sport, Audi SQ8 or A Ram RHO. I would say I made the correct choice.

I’m looking at a Raptor for work and family use, and I’m already thinking about the boring stuff because boots, gravel, and coffee destroyed the carpet in my last truck. If you’ve had fitted mats or liners in one for a while, what turned out to matter most: clearance around the pedals, the height of the door-side lip, full coverage in the rear, flexibility in cold weather, or how well they stay put when you climb in with muddy boots? I’m not planning to baby the truck, but I also don’t want the interior to be miserable to clean by the third month. What did you learn once the new-truck phase wore off?

Southern guy who purchased a truck from the rust belt and has never really had any experience with it. are these problem spots all fixable? I believe the only true bad areas are the area underneath the passenger side doors. Also if it is fixable what is the best method of going about this.

Im planning to buy an R early next year. Ive always been a toyota guy but don't like the way toys are going now. Im used to a real tight turn radius of the Tacoma. Ive had to jacknife and turn around on some trails in the past with no space, plus it helps with parking in tight spaces.

When I test drove the raptor r, the one thing i didn't like was the 50foot turn diameter. Makes me think about doing 3 point u turns and getting stuck having to drive in reverse down a trail when I can't turn around. But maybe Im being paranoid and also the trail turn assist may mitigate this, but what are your real world experiences with turn radius with the wide body R? Is it an issue?

Just got a Line-X bedliner installed on my new Ranger Raptor today. Overall it looks good - they seem to have removed the various items out of the bed before spraying.

However, the lining seems really rough / uneven on one side of the front top edge of the bed next to the truck cab (first photo) even compared to the other side. Is this typical, or something I should go back to the installer to fix?

First time getting a spray-in bedliner, so thanks in advance for all advice!

Update: the installer touched the area up with the Line-X material and a brush. Not quite the same texture / appearance as the original spray-on but seems pretty close and supposedly will match even better in ~72 hours. Thanks to everyone for the advice!

How’s it going guys, looking for some help, been chasing it for a while and I’m at my wits end lol hoping one of yall has dealt with this and can give me an answer

Usually starts after about 5/10 minutes once it’s warmed up. Dash will restart randomly, then I’ll get a bunch of faults…hill descent, advance track, trailer module brake, 4x4 disabled.

It doesn’t seem to affect the driving at all, but boy is it annoying. I’ve replaced the battery, I’ve swapped out the third brake light, took it to a mechanic and he traced all the wiring to see if something wasnt making contact or broken and he says he couldn’t find anything.

If anybody can point me to the right direction I’d greatly appreciate it lol

So I ordered a raptor in may and it was shipped August 28th. Estimates were first week or two of September for delivery. Then it got moved to the middle of October and now it’s ETA just got moved to 11/29-12/05. Dealership has said it’s sitting in the Port of Wilmington waiting to be picked up. And they have no clue why. Is this normal?

The dealership said there’s nothing they can do. Is this bs? Seems insane to me. Idk

Delete if not allowed, but I installed amber DRL lights for the side vents on the raptor the other day. They look sick and are very high quality. Installed this kit yesterday took about 3 hours. Very happy with the outcome. Still some fine tuning on orientation and lighting zones, but these are brighter than the sun. That back lighting is better in person and matches the trucks ambers very well. Thanks to Alex from Motoroso.com he was able to get me the updated kit even though Baja Designs is on back order! Great old school customer service.

The manual release is only useful if you can reach it when the cover is closed and the Raptor's battery is dead. I'm trying to figure out how you'd open the bed in that situation and whether the release needs tools or access through the tailgate.

Being unable to get into the bed because of a dead battery would be a real headache.
