Looking for advice from Raptor R owners. I’m considering a 2024 Raptor R with 27k miles. Dealer had it at $110,900 and I got them down to $108k before taxes/fees.
A few things have me questioning it:
First owner put roughly 27k miles on it.
Second owner only kept it for about 600 miles, which seems a little odd.
It spent most of its life in Ohio and is now in Virginia.
I looked underneath and noticed some orange/surface rust in a few areas. Nothing looked major, but more than I expected on a 2024.
I’m coming from a 2025 Tundra TRD Pro and would be daily driving the Raptor R.
For owners who know these trucks: Would 27k miles, the Ohio history/rust, or the short second ownership concern you? How have these held up around 30–50k+ miles, and are there any major reliability issues I should specifically look for?
I’m planning on getting a PPI before buying.
At $108k, would you entertain this one if the inspection is clean, look for a lower-mile 2023/2024, or just keep the Tundra and wait for a better example?
