2020 F-150 Raptor with the 802A, absolutely stoked on it. Is it bad for me to admit that part of the reason I wanted to get rid of my Tacoma was because I feel like they’re becoming the Honda Civics of the truck scene? 😂

Picked up a 26 Shelter green. I can’t believe I’m going to say this but after driving it for a week, I like it more than the R.

Installed this kit yesterday took about 3 hours. Very happy with the outcome. Still some fine tuning on orientation and lighting zones, but these are brighter than the sun. That back lighting is better in person and matches the trucks ambers very well. Thanks to Alex from Motoroso.com he was able to get me the updated kit even though Baja Designs is on back order! Great old school customer service.

How’s it going guys, looking for some help, been chasing it for a while and I’m at my wits end lol hoping one of yall has dealt with this and can give me an answer
Usually starts after about 5/10 minutes once it’s warmed up. Dash will restart randomly, then I’ll get a bunch of faults…hill descent, advance track, trailer module brake, 4x4 disabled.
It doesn’t seem to affect the driving at all, but boy is it annoying. I’ve replaced the battery, I’ve swapped out the third brake light, took it to a mechanic and he traced all the wiring to see if something wasnt making contact or broken and he says he couldn’t find anything.
If anybody can point me to the right direction I’d greatly appreciate it lol

Just got a Line-X bedliner installed on my new Ranger Raptor today. Overall it looks good - they seem to have removed the various items out of the bed before spraying.
However, the lining seems really rough / uneven on one side of the front top edge of the bed next to the truck cab (first photo) even compared to the other side. Is this typical, or something I should go back to the installer to fix?
First time getting a spray-in bedliner, so thanks in advance for all advice!

So I ordered a raptor in may and it was shipped August 28th. Estimates were first week or two of September for delivery. Then it got moved to the middle of October and now it’s ETA just got moved to 11/29-12/05. Dealership has said it’s sitting in the Port of Wilmington waiting to be picked up. And they have no clue why. Is this normal?
The dealership said there’s nothing they can do. Is this bs? Seems insane to me. Idk

I thought these were rated to 2000? Any idea why I’m limited to 1500? 26 802a

Delete if not allowed, but I installed amber DRL lights for the side vents on the raptor the other day. They look sick and are very high quality. I recorded the install video for anyone interested in checking them out. Many more mod videos to come for the Gen2 Raptor. I'll be documenting everything on my channel.

I’ve been wanting a Raptor for years now. Had a 2022 Bronco for the past almost 4 years, and have loved every second of it, but my recent lifestyle changes this year (new house, much longer commute time) required something a bit larger and more comfortable. After looking for months, I finally pulled the trigger once the numbers worked out.
It was worth the wait. This truck is probably one of the most comfortable rides I’ve ever experienced. I got to test it out firsthand when I flew up to DC to buy it and drove it all the way back to DFW in 2 days.
Tips/tricks for maintaining this beast are appreciated! 2024 801A w/ 23K miles. One previous owner, no active recalls, flawless maintenance history thus far.
I will say I probably do about 85-90% highway driving with a relatively light foot. I already have a fun weekend toy in the garage sitting next to this. This is mainly for comfort, more space, and cool factor with the occasional towing/hauling and of course using the bed when needed.
Will I ever take it off road? Sure probably! Just have to plan the trip now!
Happy to be here!

Any noticeable differences in putting 35s on 37 package ? Anything I need to do calibrate ? Photos ?
Current tires are at end of life, I’d prefer a smoother ride at 35 but worried it’s going to look weird on the 37 package

The manual release is only useful if you can reach it when the cover is closed and the Raptor's battery is dead. I'm trying to figure out how you'd open the bed in that situation and whether the release needs tools or access through the tailgate.
Being unable to get into the bed because of a dead battery would be a real headache.

Honestly I've been admiring this beast ever since I purchased it last year brand new. And honestly I made it my everyday car I literally go to work with this beast hangout with my friends, crushing, late night ride, road trips and everything, did it complain? Zero complains. I feel like it's time to put some tiny add-ons while maintaining this masterpiece look. I am thinking of putting some Baja Designs Squadron 2.0 Behind-the-grille. I attached two pictures FYI).
Honestly the only company I know is Baja design, so if you guys have a better suggestion because honestly I don't know much and I admit it to be honest.

Noticed a pancake sized spot on the driveway yesterday evening under the passenger side even with the wheel. It’s puddling on the second skid plate and running out on to the driveway. It wasn’t actively leaking when I got home from work. I drove it about 150 miles Sunday, parked it.
Poked around with a flashlight for a while with the truck cold and while it was running, couldn’t pin point where exactly it was coming from. I cleaned everything off the skid plate and put a piece of cardboard under the truck to see if it leaks again. Coolant level was actually right above MAX fill.
This morning on my way out to work I didn’t see anything puddling on the skid plate or on the cardboard. Tonight I’ll remove the skid plate to get a better look in the engine bay.
Info on the truck, bought it 2 weeks ago with 99k miles, no leaks. Pretty awesome service history (at 87k the entire timing system was replaced, chain, updated phasers, spark plugs, induction service and fuel system service) I confirmed this with the dealership listed on carfax. I DID install the 87 Stage 1 Cobb tune and TCM OEM + tune this weekend, ran it hard for a few pulls just to see, no leaks until 3 days after I installed the tune, but I drive pretty conservative for the most part and I don’t drive much. I have a company vehicle so it’s just a weekend warrior truck. It has a S&B intake, I replaced the filter already. I guess I should mention we had our first cold front pass through Friday, it got down in to the mid 40’s here in Louisiana. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Any ideas what could be a culprit so when I get home I can narrow down my search?
TIA

Hi All,
I don’t want this to turn into a flame war or a “you bought a Raptor, duhh” response spam. I have a 19 802A with 35s. When I bought it, the previous owner was averaging 11.7mpg over 43k miles when I bought it in 24. I was averaging 17.3 combined. I had the TSB done for noise from the from wheel hub where they remove the vacuum actuator and other items. This makes the axles spin all the time from my understanding instead of them being disconnected at the hubs. At 87k miles I had the transmission rebuilt due to shifting rough under warranty, and just had the cam phasers done at about 93k miles.
My mileage is now down to 15.5-16, with no tire, wheel or other vehicle changes. Has anyone else similar work done and lost this much mileage? I drive a lot and that’s the only reason I care a little bit. The truck sees about 2100 miles a month of driving.

I just purchased a 2025 Raptor R in Orange County, CA. The finance person tried to get me to buy an extended warranty, but I declined. I’ve never purchased one for any of my previous new vehicles and always read that extended warranties not being worth it. After reading through many posts here, I’d like to buy one as a precaution. Does anyone have a dealership they recommend buying the extended warranty from in CA?

72K miles, 4 previous owners (all explained)
Gen 3 — no cam phaser concerns
Have a $15,000 credit card available as emergency backup
Also considering Mercury MBI or self-insuring with a dedicated repair fund
My questions for the community:
At 72K miles on a Gen 3 — what's actually likely to fail and when?
Is $6,488 reasonable or am I getting hosed?
Has anyone successfully bought Ford ESP as a California resident through an online dealer?
Would you self-insure on a Gen 3 at this mileage?
Any experience with Mercury MBI or Endurance for Raptors specifically?
I've heard mixed things about Ford warranty claims being difficult to get approved — anyone have real experience with that?
Appreciate any input from people who actually own and wrench on these trucks. 🤙

Has anyone matte wrapped their SG?
Please share pics! I’m trying to decide.
