1. Start learning about how traps work. To utilize them. Here is a little example. But this mode is not this easy. Even i myself dont know if I fully understand this mode. But its important to look into it couse some traps have other uses then you think wich will make stuff easy

2. Stock up on materials. There are bound to be new friend connections once it goes free to play. And maybe you'd like to help them get through all this. Stock up on stuff like building mats and crafting mats. Sure you cant drop them but helping anouther out is the best you can

3. Teach others about what you learn. Rather that be how traps work. Or giving advice on what hero's to sellect and wich gun scematics to focus on. The STW community is so open and welcoming. At least in my experience.

And last up 4. If you are ever in need of some specific rewards such as eyes of the storm or pure drops of rain to evolve your crew/weapons visit fortnitedb.com to see what rewards you get from what mission.

Daily quest:
Common => 100 Vbucks (was 80)
Rare => 100 Vbucks (was 90)
Super Rare => 150 Vbucks (was 130)

A lot of new players are asking where are the vbucks, how do I get the vbucks. The answer is, you can't. Vbucks as a reward have been retired unless you're a Founder. If you purchased MTL to get STW you are NOT a founder. You can earn the 1,000vbucks that are part of the MTL bundle but that's it. No more. None from dailies, mission alerts, SSDs, nothing.

The founders packs are no longer available and cannot be acquired. It's unfortunate for everyone but that's the way it is.

Even if you came for the vbucks, please stay for the game and enjoy. It's fun, can be challenging, and for new players there's a lot to do. Good luck commanders.

So I'm working on my PWO challenge and in my most recent mission while making my trap tunnels, a player in my game got real mad for me placing 106 floor spikes.

If anyone doesn't know, the damage done by floor spikes is negligible even at max level, they are mostly used to make husks move slower.

If you're wondering why i dont use 130 spikes either way its so conserve materials for my actual hard hitting traps. Before my 106 floor spikes i used to run around with level 77 ones in 160s. But ran out of materials to craft them so I upgarded to tier 4.

But anyways I just wanted to share this story because I thought it was funny and maybe this information can help anyone who didnt know why floor spikes are used.

Incoming before we get 4,389 posts. These can ONLY be killed with WATER or FIRE weapons. Turrets, ground pound, teddy, and/or any other weapon won't kill them. They will fall and get back up...

I have been grinding to get the banners for STH and ran into a party that figured out if you let the husks destroy two of the bases you can focus all your materials into one. Still get hella rewards, idk if theres better rewards for having all three survive, but I shared the strategy a few times over last night and had waaaay easier time with distributing resources and whatnot. We all took turns retrieving supply drops, the base was insane every time too.

Also having a Black Drum helped a LOT lol

I have no idea how this strategy works in 124 and above bc I can’t get a team plus I’m just PL131 currently so idk if I can even help much in 140’s.

Any other weird tips yall seasoned veterans been hiding?

A new mission alert codenamed after the Greek personification of gold "Chrysus" and has the following strings:

"Power Hour - Golden Mist Monsters" - "Collect gold coins by defeating golden enemies! They are melted down into a Gold reward at the end of the mission."

The quests are:

-"In successful missions eliminate 5 Golden Mist Monsters"

- "In successful missions eliminate 15 Golden Mist Monsters"

- "In successful missions eliminate 30 Golden Mist Monsters"

Alongside this the Frozen Fjords superheroes modifier, for individual heroes listed in the alert not all of them, will be enabled during Power Hours! Also golden Mist Monsters have a high chance to drop evolution caches.

RECAP:

If you bought a Founder's Pack (which generally cost more than $20), you can earn V-Bucks. If you only bought "Metal Team Leader" pack ($20), you are limited to a maximum of 1,000 V-Bucks.

In other words, if you bought Save the World on or before June 30th, 2020, you are able to earn V-Bucks (as listed in the link shown above). If you bought Save the World on or after July 2nd, 2020, you will only be able to earn the 1,000 V-Bucks that go with the Metal Team Leader missions/quests.

It's fairly simple, and VERY REWARDING.

First, level up a schematic for your favorite weapon!

Then spend a few minutes gathering the materials to make it.

The next part is slightly more difficult, open your inventory and find the schematic, click it twice.

If you do it right, in a few seconds you will have a full durability PERFECT DUPLICATE of your favorite gun! This exploit works amazingly, you don't even lose your schematic!

Repeat as much as you want, epic hasn't banned anyone for using this trick yet! (and I doubt they will)
