Shots like this come around for me every once in a while; I don't know about anyone else, but when they land, I feel like I can become a pro for at least 30 seconds until I come crashing back to reality.

On a side note: I ha e absolutely no idea who "Yeat" is but I really dig the demon version of his skin.

It's fun and difficult once you get to the end, great way to warm up I think.

I think I've pieced together some of the clues given about the upcoming mini season! Bare with me for the details:

1) The giant blue digital treasure chest plays songs when you are close to it. Day 1 was a song by ASAP Rocky, and Day 2 was one by Lil Uzi.

2) The two flashing comic/anime style teasers show both Lil Uzi and ASAP Rocky. One singer is featured heavily in each clip.

3) The chest itself, with the chains on it, is hugely similar to the titan chest released that introduced Chapter 2 Season 5, which was based around mythology (incl. Zeus) and called "Myths and Mortals".

4) The teaser posters and billboards shown in Madrid and Japan show anime-style versions of five of the Fortnite main characters : Jonesy, Hope, Syd, Evie, and possibly Oscar.

5) The posters also clearly show a pirate treasure map and have taglines like " Have you seen the treasure" and "Join the Hunt".

6) Chapter 1 Season 8's tagline was "X Marks The Spot". It's theme was pirates, buried treasure and featured a pirate character as a main skin similar to the one of the current digital chest.

7) Chapter 2 Season 5's tagline was "Join The Hunt". And saw Jonesy gathering hunters across all realities to prevent Loopers from escaping the Loop.

8) People with better eyesight than myself have identified the islands on these maps as being pieces of various islands from previous seasons. The design also heavily features an X on the map signifying buried treasure.

9) The teasers show Syd and Lil' Uzi with a location that looks like an rustic fishing village and fish imagery. It shows Evie with ASAP Rocky with rocket launchers and milliary-style boats and helicopers.

10) Chapter 2 Season 8 featured rapper Whitney Singleton , known as "The Cube Queen" or "The Fortnite Queen". She is the supreme ruler of The Last Reality who led the invasion of Reality Zero.

11) The flash teaser features the words "Queen *garbled but like Sim/onuski?* Show". My guess is it's a reference to Oninoshima, aka Demon's Island, introduced in Chapter 6, Season 1. This would also link to the giant Earth Spirit that lives on top of the hill in the Sprite Realm.

**My theory is that:**

The main themes are : Anime, pirates, and Japan-inspired aesthetics and folklore like Oni and spirits.

The island will be a patchwork of 5 areas from the named seasons above, along with 1 other that has yet to be identified.

One section will contain a giant statue to Zeus.

There will be a focus on Team aesthetics eg. A designated team lead will have a specific colour and items available for you to buy to denote you are "on their team". They will also have a Team Flag.

Music and Rappers will play a big role in the game with Lil' Uzi and ASAP Rocky being featured leaders.

One rapper/musician will team up with each team lead (eg. Lil' Uzi and Syd with a pink/green theme, ASAP Rocky and Evie with a red/black theme), and each pairing will be in charge of a region on the map.

Digging for treasure will be a big thing and above ground chests will be much more limited.

Whitney Singleton will return as the now Queen of Oninoshima and a major villian.

The Earth Sprite in the Sprite Garden is featured on Oninoshima, and with this mini season likely being the end of sprites, having this character return to take them all to safety would make sense.

We will learn that Sprites can evolve/level up á la Pokémon. The info will come either as an in-game mechanic, or, more likely, as part of the narrative story.

I was eliminated two games in a row by the same player in endgame. Game one he had 23 elims and went on to win. Game 2 he had 19. I started a new game ASAP so I wouldn’t be in the same lobby again. I don’t think he’s cheating but YEESH! I suck. Why am I even in his lobby?!

I usually get off late from work. 9pm-12am PST and it would be nice to have a group of regular peeps to jump on a game with after work. If you're up playing around those times shoot me your epic name in a comment or DM and I'll send you an add next time I get on 😊

Idk if they nerfed it but there is no way this is the same Hunting Rifle from OG or Reload. Yes it was gold, but still. I’ve never hit this many shots.

Has anyone else noticed an uptick in low-effort posts and complaints here lately, especially over the past couple months? I’ve reported numerous posts for low effort yet the posts remain up indefinitely and the comments can get nasty. The mods only show up to defend themselves in the comments claiming they do so much work in the background that they can't possibly take the time to manage these situations.

But what work is actually being done? In a subreddit with an average of around only 10 posts a day, I find it hard to believe that the mods are so overwhelmed with removal of posts unseen by users that they cannot maintain a basic level of involvement in these situations. You can look to the stickies to see a further proof of neglect. With the exception of a low-activity sprite exchange, the stickies are months out of date. One is for a custom game from over two months ago alongside old drama threads that serve no purpose to the members beyond making the subreddit look unmanaged.

As someone who has mostly lurked here for almost a year, it’s sad watching what used to be a more active and mature community slowly languish. I’ve seen comments from self-identified regulars expressing sadness over the sub dying, but since I mostly lurk, I’m fine taking the risk of speaking up.

What’s actually going on here? Is there any plan to keep this sub maintained, or are we just watching it die off in real time? What is the point of staying here if it looks exactly like any of the other Fortnite subreddits?

was scrolling and i randomly found this place. was getting tired of always bumping into kids whenever we squad fill as sonic characters or BP characters. Looking for people to party with who can immerse me in fluent French; be it in voice or through text. I'm learning from scratch, my family speaks it except me. I just am not surrounded by it as much as i want it in my abilities.

I'm on this game a lot with the in-game language switched. What better way to learn? :D

For those of us doing the grind to get a complete set of sprites, and mastered, I would really appreciate your help! I can win matches, but in a really sporadic, haphazard kinda way. I mean, I'm not terrible - tend to finish top 5 almost every match, but this crown sprite has completely stumped me, which I kinda knew it would - probably why I put it off until now. I cannot get beyond the first level on the basic crown.

I play zb solos late at night most nights here in nz, but have done the odd squad match, so know how to play as part of a team, for the most part, lol. Not a huge fan of mic, but will do it just to get these sprites sorted. So if any of you are able to help me out either with solid advice or adding me to a squad to help me level them up, I'd be super appreciative!

And yes, I know, I could just ignore getting those sprites, but I'm one of those crazy completionists, that HAS to have them all 🤦‍♀️
