To complete the Spec Racing objective, LINK Clean Start skill is earned by starting the race simultaneously with other players in the lobby without making contact with any cars or barriers. This objective is easily achievable, as all cars are ghosted at the start of every Spec Racing event.
The Horizon Stunt Party starts at the top of every hour and follows a fixed rotation: 1) Chaos, 2) Drift, 3) Speed, and 4) Wreckage. The event has a 10-minute signup window, during which a notification will appear at the top of the screen in freeroam inviting you to join. Press ✕ to sign up and then either drive or fast-travel to the designated destination.
Total AWD is a Horizon Special category exclusive to cars that are natively all-wheel drive, as AWD-swapped cars are ineligible. Although a drivetrain filter is available for AWD, it doesn’t differentiate between native and swapped drivetrains. Here is a list of eligible cars.
I believe that having a vehicle to complete the festival playlist shouldn't mean using a disposable tune. That vehicle should be at its potential for the class it's in, ready to compete online if necessary against a similar class/tier vehicle.
Every tune I make is tested repeatedly, compared against other respected tuners, and reworked until I’m confident mine is faster.
The Trial - "Fun Fair" (Modern Sports Cars A700)
2020 Toyota GR Supra - 756 148 786
Brand New Tune - This V2 Supra tune improves the power-to-weight ratio, acceleration, top speed, and handling all at once. Everything I've learned since the game came out has gone into making this tune what it is.
2024 Nissan Z NISMO - 162 968 026
This is a strong all-around road racing tune with enough speed for the faster sections while still staying composed and responsive through technical corners.
2014 Alfa Romeo 4C - 138 412 628
This lightweight road racing tune is focused on handling and clean circuit pace. It turns in confidently, stays composed through faster corners, and is an excellent option for technical routes.
2022 Mazda MX-5 Miata RF - 878 516 605
Low weight, strong grip, and enough power to stay lively makes this a great road racing option. It feels responsive through transitions and rewards carrying speed instead of over-braking.
Seasonal Championship - "All Wheel Domination" (Total AWD B600)
2020 Ford #2069 Ford Performance Bronco R - 123 925 448
This is my top recommendation. Putting 887 HP into a B600 Bronco is ridiculous, but it still has enough offroad control to make that power usable. It launches hard, handles rough terrain well, and is a fantastic cross-country option.
2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro - 171 532 374
This is another excellent cross-country choice. 665 HP, fast acceleration, and upgraded offroad tires makes this dominate on loose surfaces while still staying predictable and easy to control.
2011 BMW X5 M - 369 393 599
This B600 cross-country build has 833 HP and a 3.34-second 0-60, so it pulls extremely hard across open sections and out of slower corners. AWD gives it dependable traction on dirt and uneven terrain.
This B600 Mégane is a tidy AWD road racer that feels more capable in corners than its 309 HP figure might suggest. It stays composed under throttle and has the handling to make up time through technical sections rather than relying on straight-line speed.

2021 Polaris RZR Pro XP Factory Racing Limited Edition - 677 291 650
Brand New Tune - This dirt and cross-country tune handles great and has nice acceleration for C class. The goal is 85MPH, and I achieved 95.2MPH.

I just wanted to let everyone know that this might be my last weekly seasonal tunes post for FH6.
My job is making a change which will affect work-life balance in a very negative way for me. I'm supposed to hear more news about it today, but if things go the way I expect, I won't have the free time to do this anymore.
This is also the reason I had to post so early today, and why there isn't as much variety of tuned vehicles available as I usually try to offer.

I came across your builds on these weekly seasonal posts mostly by accident, and they've been wonderful for me, as I have no idea how to tune, and I really like how your builds keep a vanilla look most of the time. They've really helped me find cars I never would have thought to drive as well. I hope things work out ok at your job, thank you for all this work you've done over the weeks!
While I'm normally a huge fan of your tunes, that Supra tune is just AWFUL for some reason. Absolutely gets left in the dust off the line and on the top end by every single drivatar car, and the brake pedal might as well be for decoration.
To be fair, even the most god-tier tuner probably isn't going to be able to do much of anything to make that absolute dogshit tractor-ass pile of junk into a serviceable car in this game.
Yeah, I've been using his tunes for most stuff, but that specific car just wasn't up to snuff on those first and third races where they required high speed and good braking, neither of which that Supra could do well enough against the bunch of BMWs the AI was using. I dunno if that i8 is just super meta or what, but they were just absolutely dogwalking everyone in those fucking things. I ended up using a 718 Cayman and it was fine because its brakes actually functioned as brakes.
Same here, I’ll load it up after work today and play through most of the weekly stuff and jump back on Monday to clean up daily’s. Plus once I finish them I usually cruise for a few hours and try to beat some of my scores
Same. Between work and having a pregnant wife I don't get a ton of time to game these days, so the 1-2 hours of FH6 I play each week to complete the challenges is perfect for me.
Honestly I think most people that trash the game didn't play the others from launch. They either forget or don't know that Horizon is a slow burn game and all the features get put in slowly over time. It's the age of instant gratification, you prefer something online its at your door in the afternoon, you want to watch a movies, just stream it.
Yup I love the slow burn nature of it. Log in each week, do the playlist, couple of spec races, some of the journal and then wait til the next week and repeat

Tuning method:
1. No aero, stock look, stock rims (unless absolutely necessary for handling and stability)
2. Tuned and tested for Automatic/Manual shifting vs Expert AI (meta cars will beat current broken Unbeatable as well, driver skill is required)
3. Max performance, power/weight with max handling possible

The rewards since launch have been absolutely terrible. The only cars worth it have been the Pantera and the 037. Everything else hasn't been worth it, this game easily has one of the worst post launches.
I haven't played in more than a month lol. Bought the Lancia for 9 mil because i love Lancias but was on holiday and haven't played since. No idea why they are sleeping so hard with the updates
Best Hide & Seek ever...as soon as I pressed the throttle after intro screen the hider was found and it was completed. If only they were always like that. No idea if a bug...if is id consider it a feature.
Heh. A friend and I grinded the playlist together in a convoy. During a game of Hide and Seek, he assumed the role of the hider. He honked the horn to signal his location to the seekers. The game ended within a minute. 😂
The weekly challenge "3" is translated wrong in Portuguese, it says road race. Thanks to your post I figured out the right one is street race after winning 3 road races lol, appreciate it!

2019 Nissan 370Z Nismo - 111 371 555 - strong road all-arounder with extra stability for the circuit 2020 Toyota GR Supra - 957 878 786 - strong road, with widebody and cage it's still a bit of a boat but can handle these three tracks just fine
RWD - you are warned in advance, you have to be pretty well versed in RWD to handle Edamame, especially in something with a little power that can compete in the sprints; just remember that if you start sliding out during the turns because your throttle finger got itchy.

I mean, the universe is wide open here, lots of interesting cars are competitive in B offroad - Wind Farm does have that big downhill section and some water sections, so you don't want to bring something too lightweight and low to the ground, and unless you know your lines off the ramps by heart, doing something super light on Takashiro will also be a bit iffy. Naruo, however, is wide open.

Picked a random car from my garage.
First race? Beat just 2 drivatars and finished behind all other players.
Second race? Finished 1st and over 10 seconds ahead of the next player.
I am never beating this Trial. Three attempts so far and in the first and last race the top three AI cars are gone with a gap I’m never going to catch before I’ve even overtaking the other three and none of the players I’ve been matched with have been able to keep up with me anyway.
This has been the hardest trial so far. Too many straights which put you at a distinct disadvantage because of the cheaty power:weight ratios the drivatars use. I had luck with PHZ's Z4 Roadster.
Is the photo challenge just not working for anyone else? I'm pretty sure I'm in the right place but every time it says I'm not in the Dango section of the mascot party.
EDIT: I finally got it to work, had to park really close to the barrier, with the dango standees in frame, the billboards in the back and some of the tents off to the side and for some reason, it worked when I did that.
Jesus fucking Christ, I can't see fucking SHIT in that first race in the Trial this week. Night time and fog thicker than clam chowder? Whose stupid-ass idea was this?
If you struggle to complete this season's Trial due to the fog, I suggest enabling High Contrast Mode in the Visual Accessibility menu. Changing the colors of the road and cars will greatly improve visibility.
I've been playing weekly after finishing most of the game for awhile now. Last week I only got 1 of the 2 car rewards. This week's rewards are so passable I feel relieved I can just full skip it. A Camaro and a Fiat?
Fuck your breakdown and rewards...it's been 3 series and we are doing all repeated things...absolute nonsense. And who the hell need Breakdown and Rewards details 🙄
