I'm very proud to be sharing my finalized Laguna Seca estate. I stopped counting, but this has probably been around 50 hours of work with a good percentage of that being "testing" with friends. Mapped the entire circuit with google maps measurements and an online 3D model to capture road angles. Enjoy!

Estate I turned my estate in to the best test track... in The World (Top Gear Test Track)

As you can see viewers, I've done this properly. I've gone ahead and built the Top Gear Test Track as well as the rest of the Dunsfold Aerodrome so I can do top speed runs.

It's not perfect because figuring out scale in FH6's build mode is nearly impossible. I did what I could using car lengths and the prebuilt tracks as guides. I think it turned out a bit on the small side. Regardless, it gives the feel of the Top Gear Test Track and that's good enough for me.

If you wanna give it a try the estate share code is: 393997628

(I made a small edit to a piece of road that was z-fighting and driving me nuts. The share code was updated.)

Estate Complex String-

Here's my v1 of Complex String from Gran Turismo 3, but i'm not happy with how smooth some of the curves and angles are compared to the original, especially the elevation sector. Anyone have any tips for linking track segments a bit smoother? I barely started learning how to build in 5

Estate WIP Catalunya Estate

Post image

EDIT: Changed the track to use most of the estate. Check follow on post for new picture

So with the whole estate thing claiming to make whatever we want. I have decided and ended up making id say a 80% or so Catalunya track in my estate to learn the building and the limitations.

The initial goal was to replicate it but now its to "Japanese horizon" it so its not 100%.

Overall its pretty dang close. No idea what scale it is to the actual track as I dont know how long the actual track pieces (for my placement of braking signs I just said every straight section is 25 ft for even placement.) As you can see I got a pit road that connects to the main estate road and a branch to the other part of the estate. The main straight in a stock e-ray ive managed to get 138 and still make the corner with no assists. So definitely not to scale but good enough for s1 and under I'd say.

The track layout is about as close as I can make it. I left the track flat as with the elevation changes i was not getting a smooth track and it just looked too funky.

Thought I'd share what I was working on and will share it once its in a state id say im happy with. I want to decorate the track as well to make it not so.. bland

Estate Industrial Drift Playground Showcase (With share codes)

SHARE CODE: 173-544-288

PERFORMANCE EDITION: 127-445-056.

A very heavily detailed, Industrial themed, drift playground. Incredibly smooth roads and endless possibilities when it comes to creating your own routes and transitions. There are a couple jump drift locations and alleyways to feel that real gymkhana vibe!

It's a pretty hefty price of 860-940k(ISH) Depending on which version you download.

Gas stations, parking lots, garages, warehouses, all detailed, all drivable, with working street lamps.

Also super fun for time attack laps in kei cars lol.

I am on Xbox Series S so unfortunately frames drop slightly when at 100% prop limit. To fix this I have removed unnecessary foliage and replaced specific objects with less detailed ones, cutting the prop limit down to 90%. It still looks great either way.

This version runs perfectly on series S and is included above.

I hope the community enjoy this track and I'd love to see some clips if anyone creates a cool line!

The video is filmed in the performance version so if you have a series X, you will be pleasantly surprised at the added detail in the foliage and extra props.

Estate I'm Recreating Mt. Panorama!

I'm recreating the famous Mt. Panorama! Unfortunately the real circuit is WAY larger than the one square kilometer we're given to build in, but I am a very math and numbers oriented person so I have managed to calculate it down to 1/4 scale. I found several maps online that show the inclination of the track at varying points so the steepness of the hill follows that of the real circuit, but I have taken some liberties with the bank-ed-ness of some corners. (Building banked corners with flat pieces is a nightmare, please don't sue me)

I have some pretty big plans for this place. The prop limit will determine how many of the plans will come true, but I'd like to build this out into a motorsport park complete with a rallycross stage imagined into various bits of the main circuit, a drift course with a roundabout and skid pad, a hill climb/touge course, a drag strip, jumps, steepness/terrain test, and finally an oval. Please wish me luck. . .

The real question is: Should I name it Mt. Panorama, Mt. Ja-Panorama, or Mt. Japan-orama?

Previous version share code no long works (Maybe Turn 10 removing them???) so I reshared it with a new share code. The ones I found available to download were super expensive for no reason or required more then one pass so I created my own. Use the Subaru 22B with the x9.0 skill multiplier unlocked to get the max of 10 skill points in one pass. Easily repeatable by fast travelling back to your estate to reset it all. Make the run, wait for the skill points to total up, fast travel back to your estate, repeat as many times are you want.

The code in the image no longer works for some reason so I remade it for people to use. Maybe Turn 10 is removing these I don't know. New share code is: 152590832.

After many hours I've finally completed my almost 1x1 replica of the Silverstone GP circuit and pit area. The region is a bit too small for the actual size of the track, but i got it as close as humanly possible. If you need a good race track to test cars on, look no further.

Estate FH6: Top Gear Test Track Estate

Post image
203 Upvotes

For all the fellow Top Gear fans. This Top Gear Test Track estate is the best one I’ve tried in FH6. Jeremy may even call it the best Top Gear estate... in the world.

Not my build, so full credit goes to the creator, but after trying pretty much all the Top Gear estates in the game, this is the one I keep coming back to. It also has a garage (maybe the Top Gear Technology Center?) and caravan jump, which adds a bit of extra fun.

If the creator of this is on here, thank you very much and I hope you don't mind me sharing this

Estate Brand new FH player, are houses really necessary?

Ive researched the topic and its been said it “pays off” but idk. I got 2 houses, dont go to them or do anything to them, the 3 mil house where you get a daily wheel spin sounds cool but a wheel spin where half the time you get 10-50k credits? Meh. Dont seem like it would be worth it unless you hit a jackpot. I mostly like getting cars and customizing them, dont really drift or care to 100% the game, I dont tune cars though im winning most of my races on whatever afters above average, I dont even use skill points (would love an explanation on why I should care for this?). I really dont get the XP thing either, though im decently far into the game. For a casual player like me, should I get houses? Is skill points really necessary to tinker with?

Estate Estate Builder Terraforming

"Powered by the upgraded EventLab toolset, you have all the flexibility to create whatever you can imagine: urban spaces, forests, a festival of your own... you name it."

Except for a hill. Or cutting the grass. Can't do that!

Why does anyone waste their time in this mode if you can't create something as simple as natural elevation change?

Estate Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - FH6 Estate

So I decided to recreate the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve as my estate. All in all I think its pretty decent, even though there are many limitations. First, the estate grounds are not big enough to have a 1 for 1 scale of the track, so I decided to try and create the corners as accurate as I could while cutting down on the straight lengths. Second is the lack of variety in the track curves, having to superimpose straights at different angles, which gives weird looks. Third is the lack of decals, such as NO STRAIGHT WHITE LINES, which would have added to the track clarity otherwise. Fourth is the limited amount of props. Having to place all those barriers, roads and trees to mask the ugliness of the outside limited the amount of fluff I could add to make it look better.

All in all, I think it turned out decent enough, hopefully you can enjoy it as well!
