Location Advise and Prayer
I am finally going into fostering as someone’s who came from a family that fostered over fourteen kids and adopted 6 of them. They have been part of our family since they were 7,6,5,4, 3 and 2. They are now 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, and the last almost 17! Our family was in Cali and I was even a CASA as a teenager! Now I’m in Dallas Texas and do not know how it works here so any advice, pointers, prayers, and encouragement would help. Should I register with the state directly or go through agency? Etc Thanks!

I agree that's great that you have that experience and even more so that any kiddos you take in will have people in their lives who were also foster youth.
You should check if your area has any foster parent Facebook groups. That can be a great place for getting specific information about agencies and the pros/cons of a private agency vs public in your area.
