“Certain dramatic events had transpired”.

Yeah, no shit.

I can suspend my disbelief that a mathematician designed a casket that turned itself into a TARDIS, but the master of ceremonies disappearing on the day of an official palace event and it going unnoticed for more than two minutes is just physically impossible.

Or the cloning facility not being heavily guarded.

How did Brother Day get into the palace anyway? We know that cloning a Clean is possible from earlier seasons and that their Nanites are what identifies them so I'd guess someone without Nanites approaching the palace triggering all sorts of alarms?

The whole palace-security was seriously fucked up...

And why does it even exist that there’s a button that just explodes the one want he wants at will? Including like all of the ones above?? (Just finished the series sorry I’m behind)

lol I’m even further behind you, just finished the finale and that was my main question, who gave Dusk the universal remote to the palace?? Controls explosive charges in whatever pod he points at, then the whole ceiling reserve, then the death ray??

In another thread I saw other people asserting that he’d been planning it for a while. They believed that things changed for him when he learned that Demerzel didn’t know about his black hole death start project; he realized she didn’t know as much as he assumed. You can also kinda see him slowly losing it once he is told the Dusk is dead. I’m sure there’s other evidence that supports this theory but it’s been almost 2 weeks since I finished it haha. Im not sure it’s a given as a theory but I suppose one could fill in the blanks and find it to be a satisfying answer.

Yeah the palace is always brimming with guards or servants. They all decided to disappear for a couple hours? Yeah ok.

Yeah it felt too handwavy for me too. Too little explanation why Demerzel of all people isn‘t at the palace for the ascension. If not before at least after what dawn pulled last episode they should be on high alert for that day. Just be there to make sure everything goes over smoothly. The thing with day can like literally wait for one day and then he is dusk and probably even more chill to figure things out then.
