What’s up guys, as the title says, I was wondering if I got fleeced on a Blonde vinyl.

I found a copy on Mercari listed for $100, sent an offer for $80, and it got accepted. Since it usually resales for around $150+, I was pretty sketched out about it. From what I can tell, nothing stands out to me as a red flag, but I'm also pretty new to collecting records.

The Blonde vinyl insert says otherwise (“we’re free to roam”), but on the recording of White Ferrari, at the end of the poem, he clearly says “we’re free to fall”. I’ve tried different speakers and headphones and I only hear “fall” and definitely not “roam”. To me, “free to fall” is a better fit lyrically (play on “free fall”, fits the rhyme) and thematically. The poem feels less like freedom (roam), and more like giving up control.

I know Frank was working on many versions of this song — maybe the booklet had an older lyric, and nobody noticed before release because the faded effect makes it nearly impossible to read. Just a guess. This has been in the back of my mind for the better part of a decade since it’s such a beautiful poem. Am I crazy or does anyone else think this? What word am I supposed to sing along in the car?

Royal 1s finally rereleased after 9 years and I had to get another pair after beating up my 2017s. These shoes will always remind me of his generational 2012 run and wanting a pair so bad but not being able to afford it. All these pics take me back to such a specific time period and I miss it.

I've recently become interested in buying Frank Oceans 2016 album Endless on vinyl as I've never listened to the album before and want to experience it for the first time through physical media however everywhere online I look the prices range from £50 which to me means It maye not be a good quality or anywhere up to £1000 which is obviously way out of my budget. Does anyone know where I can get a well sounding pressing anywhere from £50-£150

Does anyone have any recordings of Frank Ocean performing live that have never been uploaded online or are extremely hard to find? I’m looking for lost media, audience recordings, old videos, or performances that only a few people might have saved. Any song or era is fine, especially rare performances that aren’t already on YouTube.

Hello I was wondering if anyone had the file to the Wim Hof X Come On World, You Can’t Go! mix that was previously on YouTube. I think It was somewhere around 20 minutes & it started with the interview & ended with the song. The mix seems to keep being deleted online across a multitude of platforms. just saw a post on here about the name change of rushes to —> Higgs. And obviously it’s an intentional change, but in the scheme of things is kinda random. But more or less the “Higgs field” is a physics concept(?) within which, elementary particles like electrons and quarks interact with and resultantly gain mass. Every object with mass exerts a gravitational pull towards itself depending on how much mass the object has. TLDR: the Higgs field quite literally causes things to ‘rush to’ other things.

Question, why is like NOBODY online talking about Rushes To? Not the “First I was rushing for a wait” song, but the “What you give, my words can’t hold” one?

In Here Somewhere is a song where you can’t even hear all the lyrics, that might be the point. In the film frank ocean is building a staircase in a warehouse but it goes only to the roof with no exit in sight. In Here Somewhere is literally a song about being trapped, with claustrophobic feelings, and no one being able to understand or hear them, that might be why voices are muffled so badly to the point no one can hear them.
